  1. $250 but unlimited courses, since they are created by the community.
  2. Played front 9 at Oak Brook CC yesterday, shot 39 from the tips. Course was in pretty good shape, also traps had fresh sand in them. Playing Bolingbrook CC tomorrow.
  3. Playing Bollingbrook Country Club tomorrow morning.
  4. The par 3s are some of the better public par 3s in the area in my opinion. 7 can change dramatically depending on how much wind is coming across the lake, usually I hit a 6i into 7 and play the left edge of the green for the kick towards the back pin placement, however I played a 4i due to the wind Sunday. 9 is fine, the club house is a nice touch but that's about it, usually they have the pin tucked up front so its hard to get at with the water to the immediate right. 14 is my favorite hole on the course, pretty self explanatory. 17 can be a tight tee shot depending on how far back you're playing, from the tips it can feel like a tunnel, I wish they'd make it a bit tighter. I enjoy the par 5 15 quite a bit as I have been challenging myself to cut more and more of the lake off each time. 3 and 8 definitely play similar but there's more danger on 3 than 8, 8 you can fly pretty far left and still have a look in on the second since there are hills guarding OB on the left. 3, during mid summer the fescue in that area is usually over grown so any tee shoe left of the bunker that gets a funky kick puts you into a lost ball scenario. I also get a kick out of 10 and 11. All of those holes leave me a 20-75 yard pitch in depending on how dry it is. I've actually hit the green from the tips on 10 by cutting the trees.
  5. Not awful, but a couple putts that should have dropped had they rolled true. Also, they have no drainage in any of their bunkers so there was standing water in pretty much all of them.
  6. Played Mistwood Sunday as well, what time did you tee off? We headed out at 2:30PM and didn't finish because of two foursomes playing unbearably slow. I called the club house twice to b**** about the lack of pace, not sure the message was ever received. Thankfully the slower foursome dropped at the turn. Would agree with your assessment, rough was brutal, much longer than it usually is. Greens were moving, but were a bit more nicked up relatively speaking. Shot 83 from the tips, assuming score on 18 since we only got through 17. Disagree with the course design, probably one of my favorite courses to play. Also grass range is available all season except after significant rain and late in the season. I have warmed up off the grass every time I've played there this season except for Sunday.
  7. Played Willow Crest Golf Club on Monday, teed off at 4:30, finished 18 at 6:30. Greens were punched. Course was in decent shape though.
  8. You missed the point where I said ECU (Electronic Control Unit). It is basically the car's computer and in most cases, when the car is hooked up to the server during maintenance, it automatically flags the car for a voided warranty unless the tuner can alter the flash count and other parameters of the tune to make the modification to the ECU unreadable. Nothing about what I mentioned has anything to do with mechanics and is entirely computer based. And lol at the hacking a launch monitor versus a car ECU. You realize that if you tune a car and the dealership flags it, then say you throw a rod through the block or something, you're basically stuck with a giant paper weight since the dealer won't touch the car under warranty anymore. I got rid of my BMW M4 because I was tired of worrying about the crank hub grenading the engine in my 80K car that I was running around with 700HP in. Still, I will be tuning my new RS6 when it shows up in December, lol. I'd happily hack a GC3 if it gave me more TP options. Different strokes for different folks.
  9. Something I have learned from the car scene, where there is a will, there is a way regarding cracking ECU / computer data points. It always cracks me up how BMW or Audi talk about their unbreakable ECU and then a few months down the line, someone cracks it and then the flood gates open for tuning. Same comment applies to people looking for a work around on TP software.
  10. Rumor mill suggests $85K. Could be stagnant though - waiting on a contact at work to connect me with a member there.
  11. I am very interested in Ruth Lake, Edgewood Valley and Chicago Highlands Club. The downstroke for Highlands is $150K though. So I’m leaning away from it. Edgewood is rumored to be increasing to $85K next year. I’m playing at Edgewood Thursday of next week.
  12. I'll be buying the GC3. The subscription model is not something I want to be tied to long-term as this unit has everything I want from a unit and don't foresee myself upgrading to anything in the future. $7K for everything plus no subscription is a no-brainer without having to worry about actually spending more on the Launch Pro at a 5 year investment horizon if you can't offload it at a reasonable price into the second-hand market or get stuck with a non-functional brick. I am surprised they didn't offer a 5 year subscription then permanent unlock. If that was a the case, the smart money buys the LP. I think Bushnell missed massively on the subscription model, even if they priced it at a 15% premium relative to the five year break even, people would have bought it had they known at the end of 5 years they get a fully functioning unit. The lack of a permanent unlock option will push more people into GC3s and other people into not buying at all.

  14. Look at his Instagram for five minutes then come back to me and tell me I am wrong. Guy uses a Quad in his home training simulator.
  15. Bryson has commonly used a Quad in his personal training as well. His name is only attached to the Mevo - not the broader Flightscope brand.
  16. Didn't look at the valuation but a high multiple would be expected for a company that is technology driven and presumably has a large component of the business derived from monthly recurring revenue for which there is no cost to service. Just my .02.
  17. This but I want club data and more accuracy. SkyTrak is a f****** joke.
  18. What others have said regarding 1-dot mode vs. 4-dot mode sounds good to me. Give me 1-dot with club path and unlockable face, or even without face, can basically infer face from shot direction. Sounds like a win to me.
  19. Latest email blast clearly says “ball and club parameters”
