  1. Just hit ~100 shots with your guys’ advice, worked great. Dispersion was much tighter and the bad shots weren’t nearly as bad. Thanks!
  2. Your setup and backswing seem pretty decent, but your transition and downswing seem to be where the problem is. At the start of your downswing, your shoulders move in the same plane as your hips, out and towards the ball, instead of rotating on the same plane you took your backswing on. I would recommend watching Carter’s golf “How to become a good ball striker” on YouTube
  3. Yeah I’ve had a history of over-strengthening my grip over time, not sure why but it’s probably a main reason why I struggle with over-drawing and hooks
  4. I’m left handed too, I hate the “right handed-only” sets. I’ve wanted to play a few sets of mizunos and realized I never will
  5. Is there any move I could make to prevent getting off balance/jumping through impact?
  6. Here are the slow mo’s FullSizeRender.MOV FullSizeRender.MOV
  7. I’ve been struggling with toe strikes and inconsistent distances and spin with my long irons and driver. Occasionally I’ll hit a straight shot but my misses are about 70% hook 30% slice. Any help would be appreciated. There are two videos attached (sorry about the framing) of my 5 iron and driver. FullSizeRender.MOV FullSizeRender.MOV
  8. You actually have a pretty decent swing, but something I would mention is where your left knee travels. That lead knee comes a little too far inside when you turn, and therefore you try to correct by sliding it outwards in your downswing instead of turning with it. My guess would be your miss is usually either a hook or push, with your knee and how far away you seem to stand.
  9. I didn’t even realize that. I’ve hit on the mat a lot and never really realized it’s above my feet
  10. Here’s the link to the slow mo Sorry about the angle, I had to set my phone on my bag
  11. I am quite tall for a golfer, roughly 6’ 2” and my clubs are .75” over standard length, standard lie. However, I notice when I’m in posture, the toe of my club is up off the ground and in order for it to lie flat, I have to stand almost perfectly upright. Is there a posture change that would help or just flatten the lie angle out? Or maybe it’s the shape of the head? I have Taylormade SIM Max OS.
  12. A lot of you who responded/are responding to what your favorite irons ever were said that you had to get rid of them or got a different set. If they truly were your favorite set, why did you get rid of them?
  13. Everyone has a different favorite set of irons. What’s yours?
