  1. I had this putter for awhile when I lived in Florida back in 2006. I've scoured eBay and googled but to no avail. I've see some similar but not centershafted like this one. I know it's a shot in the dark, but if anyone happens to know of someone who has one and is willing to part with it, please let me know!
  2. They trees lost their leaves because of gypsy moths, not disease. It happens once every 10-15 years and this year it was all along the Route 2 corridor. Tallwood got hit pretty bad with them too.
  3. Thank you guys! Geoff, definitely more on the weird uncle side. Never a doubt... :cheesy:
  4. Played Hopyard a couple times this summer and it's in the best shape I've ever seen it. Greens were rolling great. I'm sure they're being careful, as is everyone else, with the heat and they're not mown as low but I'm sure they'll be fantastic this fall. Lake of Isles is always a great choice too. Only deciding factor for me is the food is better at Hopyard, and the staff is much friendlier.
  5. I switched from MP15's to MP25's this year. The MP15's felt a little better in the longer irons(no compression pocket inside). The MP25's do have slightly less offset than the 15's, but I can still miss the 25's just as far left :derisive: I do miss the 15's a little bit but the short irons in the 25's look a little better to my eye. I don't think there was a wrong choice here!

  7. The club was 100% assembled at the factory. Which is the main reason I sent it back to them in the first place. I was certain if I let my local shop try and see what the issue was I'd have ZERO chance of getting a replacement. The clubhead for my R1 driver is actually fine. Its sitting right next to my desk as a matter of fact. The issue lies entirely within the loft sleeve and can really only be one of two problems: either a cracked/damaged shaft tip, or the epoxy holding the shaft in the sleeve is weakened/cracked. One is an easy fix, but the other will have me fighting to get a replacemen
  8. Agreed. The misses with it are still stupid good. Solid hits are easily 20 yards longer than my Callaway 815 3 wood.
  9. Did they install the shaft from the factory or was it done local? I deal with a lot of warranty issues at work and can say TaylorMade is one of the best when covering issues within the warranty period. The 2 year period is there for a reason. They stand behind their product but it has to have a limit. I had a kid a couple years ago who cracked an R1 head and then an SLDR head(ball speed around 180) and they covered it no questions asked and sent him a new driver both times. If the shaft is fine and they don't cover the issue with the clubhead, head to ebay and grab one for cheap!
  10. The Black Course is one of my favorites. I've been fortunate to play it twice. I could play there everyday and never get tired of it. We played the Red early in the morning and played the Black in the early afternoon a couple years ago and walked all 36. It took me a few days to recover. Glad you were able to get out!
  11. *shortest ;) KYLE LIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Haven't seen you on a forum in years! lol See you on FB only ;) I get let out of my cage every once in awhile...
  12. This thread makes me heart happy and makes my bank account quiver :stop:
