  1. Lol the link for the discussion on the GCQuad is for a unit in the classifieds section.
  2. Nothing about this looks comfortable. The last place I want to be standing over a putt that I need to make is in a position of discomfort.
  3. I went with the Zip Cores over these. If I could get the V Sole Mid Grind with the Heel Toe releif like the tour racks I just ordered I would've been all about the full face. But the single grind option was a no go for me on these guys.
  4. Awful lot of people like the 57 Chevy...just sayin.
  5. Odyssey throws back to White Hot. Scotty throws back to Studio Style. Not a lot of original ideas in the putter market from the big brands these days.
  6. I thought my other driving irons didn't fly high enough. This flies higher than the others which I view as a good thing. I wouldn't call it too high though. Spin is in a good window for me and I don't see any ballooning.
  7. Yes big time improvement over the U45,U65, U85 iterations. Much more compact and far less offset. Feel and sound are also miles better. Launches higher for me as well even though the footprint is much smaller. Huge improvement.
  8. I have a 20* ZX Utility bent to 21* with an MMT 100 TX Hybrid Shaft pencil trimed in. I've had Srixon U45, Taylormade P790 UDI and Mizuno MP 18 MMC Fli Hi previous to this club. It is easily the hottest face of the utilities I have owned. Still putting it through it's paces to determine if it's the best. When struck in the sweet spot it is the highest launching of the utilities I have owned and what I would consider neutral in terms of spin. My swing speed with it is about 95-97 mph with -3* to -5* AoA and it produces about 3200 RPM backspin on average for me. As far as
  9. Bryson is both part owner and on the board of directors for LA Golf. Not sure how giving Bryson money and supporting his business is a "troll move".
  10. Hoepfully there is a lightweight head option for overlength builds this time around or some porting offered like Vokey does. At +1" and 3* upright I've tried Milled Grind, MG2 and Hi Toe wedges along with P770 irons and they all came out to E3 swing weight. How bout some love for the tall guys @TaylorMade Golf?!?!
  11. My Srixon ZX7s are perfect. Like so many have said in this thread there is nothing else you could do to make them better. I'm already considering loading up on extra sets for the future. They are that good.
  12. 18 months ago I would have agreed with you. Now, he's radioactive. Brands can't touch him. The more exposure he gets the worse he makes things for himself and his sponsors.
  13. Why not, neither has any. Bryson is right up there with Patrick Reed as far as being universally disliked. If anything he's become a negative influence on the brands he's associated with. At least Kuchar isn't a force against his sponsors. Also Kuchar was selling arm lock putters with Bettinardi well before Bryson picked it up.
  14. Matt Kuchar is THE Arm Lock Guy and the other pros on tour thinking about going arm lock don't seek out Bryson, they seek out Kuchar for advice.
  15. You got it right. Ping just being different for no apparent reason. They still list their iron and wood lie angles like everyone else. Seems like it's almost just to get people to do a double take and spend more time looking at their stuff.
  16. Do the 105s feel as stout as the 125s to you or is the lighter weight noticably softer?
  17. Everyone saw this coming from day 1. The tour doesn't care because we are all here talking about it and that's all they care about. Good or bad we're talking about it.
  18. From what steel shaft to what weight steelfibers?
  19. Yeah I'm hoping to save a little more than 5 grams. Any experience with the MMT 105 TX?
  20. Do you have some swing weight numbers on how counter balanced they are or just based on feel?
  21. I talked to them, they seemed to think a hard stepped S was the way to go. How was the ball flight and spin compared to your C-Tapers? Higher, Lower?
  22. Got fit for C-Tapers before I hurt my back and while they still perform well for me, perfect really, I think they are more shaft than I need these days. I used to make a big turn to get the shaft parallel to the ground and was over 100 mph 6 iron swing speed but now I'm only getting the shaft to vertical with a very quick tempo and transition. I'm 6'4" so think Rahm & Finau type swing. 6 iron swing speed has dropped to 92-93 mph due to my inability to turn. Steep AoA 5*-8* down, 1* in to out path. My C-Tapers have been great for dispersion and spin control but they are starting to feel hea
  23. I'd imagine it has something to do with Mizuno not having the resources to produce that many drivers at once. So they go for the meat of the bell curve first and produce the niche product when the have the manufacturing band width open up. I don't think it's in their best interest to not have all the options on the market either. So I would imagine the only reason they don't is probably because they can't.
