  1. Well perhaps if you had a swing close to Rory's and actually tried the club you might be able to fathom it.
  2. Thanks for all the responses-please keep them coming. My ss is still around 100, but at my age I'm sure it will be dropping soon enough. I have gotten access to a staff bag jammed full of some really nice shafts (Mitsubishi, Fuji, Oban, Adila etc.) that were part of a reps fitting cart so thought I might want to try something different i.e slightly lighter but with similar characteristics to my Kaili. I can get these shafts at a VERY reasonable price so really not concerned about the price of doing a bit of experimentation with some new to me shafts.
  3. I am currently playing a Kaili 60 shaft in my driver but as I quickly approach 60 y.o. I am thinking I might like to try something with fairly similar spin/launch characteristics but in a slightly lighter weight. I would really like to try something in a 50-60 gram weight and would appreciate hearing from those far more expert in shafts to get some opinions. I recently hit a Diamana M+ 50 series shaft that felt really nice but it was indoors with no launch monitor so don't have numbers, although from what I have been able to find out about the M+, it might produce a fair bit more spin than th
  4. Don't know for sure how accurate this is, but I've been told the Rogue Black is similar. I really like the Kai'li too and still play it in a couple of clubs.
  5. I assume you are talking about a club other than a driver are you?
  6. So you'd rather fine tune your swing to better fit your "correctly" fitted clubhead/shaft than fine tune the club to fit your swing? Hmmm...
  7. I am selling a 4-pw set of rh 2009 Callaway X Forged irons. These clubs are standard length and lie and are fitted with flighted Project X 6.0 shafts. The clubs are in really nice condition with only signs of light use-of course there is a little bit of bag chatter that you will find with any nice soft forged irons but there are no major dings, dents or uglies of any kind. These irons have not seen much use at all and as the photos show the faces and grooves are in great shape. $185 shipped to CONUS or Canada.

    Club advice

The Pings are great irons and are all you really need. They might need to be adjusted, but you need to first learn to make a repeatable swing, so keep practicing and playing. And as far as the grooves are concerned, even if they are non-conforming don't give it a second thought unless/until you are serious and good enough to play in sanctioned competitions. For now, just go out and have fun.

  11. I am selling a rh 9* Ping G30 driver that is fitted with the upgraded Ping Tour 65 shaft in stiff flex. This club has seen some light use but is in very good condition with only signs of light use on the face and sole. The crown is perfect. This club comes complete with headcover and wrench. $235 shipped. I will sell the head, headcover and wrench separately without the shaft for $175 shipped.
  12. I'm not sure what would work for you guys --$75 for shaft and $175 for head, headcover and wrench (includes shipping)? I would certainly like to get rid of both as I really don't have a use for either so if we can work it out that both components sell separately I am OK with that. Please let me know what you guys think. Thanks.
