Yes. Last few years I've been doing it. Played The Ridge @ Backbrook and Roxiticus already this spring, I've signed up for Black Oak in August. Rich Kennedy does a good job running the tournaments and the pace of play is actually pretty good for double tees/shotgun start...

Yes, I actually just benched them last month for a set of Mizuno JPX-EZs to see if "GI" clubs can improve my game. Will probably put them back in the bag for a round or 2 once the honeymoon period ends for the Mizunos. Prior to this, they were in the bag since 2009 or so, fantastic irons in my opinion.

If y'all are looking for a nice track at a reasonable rate, we played Great Bear (a Nicklaus property) out towards East Stroudsburg, PA yesterday. Got on for $30 including cart through teeoff.com. It's another of the formerly private cliubs in the area, course was in great shape, pace of play was excellent (3.5 hours), & staff was very friendly. Worth the trip over the river and got a better deal than Architects or even the in county rate at Heron Glen. They are still working on the new liquor license for Jack's Pub though, so minus 1/4 star for that. :)

Heron Glen is awesome! It may be one of the best "county" courses in the country. Don't let the fact that the clubhouse is a trailer fool you, the locals wouldn't vote tax money to build a real clubhouse (building) but they did create a fantastic golf course. You and me both. I had shoulder surgery three weeks ago and I get to just stare at the JPX's for the next 3 to 6 months. Get well soon. Aw, that sucks too, feel better also bud. I had scheduled the surgery for now to be recuperated in time for NJ spring golf...clubs were a bit off script ha.

My set of JPX EZ Forged with KBS Tour S was sitting outside my garage door today, as we returned home from my double hernia surgery. So, mixed oxy emotions right now... I'll find out in 6 weeks if they feel as sweet as they look. Thank you to the OP for posting the link. I was a bit skeptical I'll admit, but they arrived in the factory Mizuno box, clubs wrapped in plastic. Great deal and good timing as I was in need/want of an iron upgrade from my 704cb set.

Why do I want to go and be fit at Callaway?: I think my game would benefit from a proper fitting by experts. I'd also like to see if there's a club that can knock my trusty Big Bertha 3 wood from my bag (8 years now?). I'd also like to escape the NJ winter. Finally, I'll offer to be designated driver for the other 7 WRXers at post fitting drinks if I'm selected....

As an American I'll be rooting for the good old US of A of course, however I think they're gonna have their work cut out for them with the tough Euro squad. I'd love to bag these irons, have been drooling over online photos since I first saw them. Beautiful irons and would look right at home next to my Callaway driver and 3 wood.
