  1. I have a Ventus Blue 6R Velocore that I tipped 1”. Should it now feel more like an S? Currently playing a TSi3 10* at B2, seems to launch to high, carries about 225 (don’t have launch data, 95mph driver swing speed) and I don’t get much roll out. Thoughts?
  2. The good, is that I picked up a Ventus from a charity event. The bad, is it is a 6R when I normally play a stiff. Looking at the specs between the two flexes, would “tipping” it 1/2” get it closer to the stiff profile? I thought about trying it in an R first to see how it plays and tip as needed but was looking for a baseline or thoughts. I’ve read some great things on this shaft and want it to perform at its greatest potential. I thought about a fitting, but since I already own it in its raw state and do most of my own club building, I feared that I might not be able to try all the options between the two flexes or get devoted time since there’s no skin in it. Thanks in advance and look forward to the replies. Current build. Callaway Epic Flash 10.5*, Mitsubishi Tensei Orange 60S, 45”, Neutral, Neutral Swing speed averages 97mph (short back swing) https://Not allowed because of spam.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/ventus-specs.png
  3. Thanks for the comments. The face is definitely milled, but the material that was used to fill looks and feels like a polished epoxy. You can feel the milled face and the logo is painted. The putter has great feel and was wondering if it may have been refinished, but why, that model is not that old... it was given to me so no loss of $$$. Was just wondering if I had something here or if it was an experiment.
  4. I realize this may be the wrong place to post.... I picked this O Works Black 3T up and wanted an outside opinion. I have searched for anything on this guy and have found nothing. As you will see it has a welded neck. There is no printing on the shaft or shaft band. The center well has no paint fill (I added a pin strip sticker to assist with alignment). Came with an Elite grip and magnetic head as shown. Let me know your thoughts.

  8. I’d like the Studio Stock 28 Slotback, 35” length, 3* loft, 70* lie, standard grip with 2 wraps if possible! I hope I win, love my Hogan BB!!
  9. 1. What is your biggest swing issue? No lag, need better hip turn to generate power and consistency 2. What are you doing to try to fix it? (drills and practice I would love to be able to see where the power loss is and why I am so inconsistent. Being able to draw swing lines would help a lot. I also like the fact it's small and non obstructive and looks pretty easy to setup and carry around.
  10. I've been playing a SM4 TVD 60/10K for a few years. At first it was a tough club to get just right. Over time I figured how to play it. Absolute money out of bunkers. On super tight lies gotta open face slightly and commit to shot. On full swings it's as smooth as a baby's a**. Love mine. The only bad thing is they don't exist and mine has a lot of face ware. I just recently picked up a clean SM4 TVD 58M. I'm starting to fall in love with it but find my self pulling it on 60-70 yard shots. I figured I will transition it to it with a little time as I love my SM4 TVD 54M.
  11. Any thoughts or reviews on these? Was looking at these in comparison to areotechs or recoils. When I do try to search it tells me I did not meet the search requirements.....
  12. Just pulled the trigger on new Areotech shafts. I have been playing my steel shafted irons standard length. Question is do I butt trim them the same as steel or add length like there a graphite shaft?
  13. I have a couple of TVD SM4's in the bag. Prefer the head shape over the SM5. They are starting to show the wear. I heard that you can send them in for resurfacing and restoration. Is there any truth to this and what should I expect to pay? Also if true how'd they turn out once returned, same performance?
  14. I made the same move. Was playing AP2-714 KBS Tour Stiff at an 7hc. There is a member at our club that works at PGAss as a part time fitter. I went to see him in January with an open mind, I told him I want something that I don't have to work so hard at and wanted a higher ball flight . We tried everything so I could see and feel the results of the players vs GI. After the first meeting he had me in the G30 direction with the stock graphite in a stiff. I was not sold but the difference at the fitting was unbelievable. I went back to the club and tried a playing partners in our group pw, 7 & 5 on various holes where I new what I was hitting the AP2's for comparison, not even closer. I was hitting his G30 the same way as in the fitting, long, high and straight with ease landing soft and even backing them up. I went back to see him again and did the fitting process again with the select few I liked, same result, the G30's we spot on! I finally pulled the trigger. Since then I'm now down to a 4, won 3 tourneys already and even the member/member and Calcutta. They are so easy to hit and I actual believe in the graphic now, tempo is the key. I know there not for everybody, but in my case there awesome. I used to have those consistent misses but now, no fear grip it and rip it. The only bad thing is I'm now having to give strokes to the group but for exchange I'm taking there money more often!
  15. Thanks for the replays. Just want to make sure it's not going to be too short for me, being 6'3"
