  1. Only 20% off used clubs. Not amazing as I was looking to get a new set. Hopefully the deals will get more aggressive throughout the holidays.
  2. For sale are the following minty irons: Custom Titleist T200 2019 Irons These irons got a hole in one:)! 5-Gap Wedge, standard length, loft and lies. Shafts are True Temper Dynamic Gold stiff 105. Grips are brand new Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips logo down. The irons are pretty much mint. Very minimal wear on the faces of each iron. Got my first hole in one in 30 years of golfing with the 8 iron in this set:)! Price: $old Custom Srixon X5 7 Iron Selling a minty X5 7 iron. Standard length, loft and lie. Shaft is Modus 105 stiff. New Golf Pride Tour Wrap logo down grip. Amazing club. Just sticking with the X7 7 iron for my gamer set. Price: $old Prices include shipping to CONUS only. No trades. Let me know if you have any questions. pin 10/17
  3. Ping G410 3 Wood Gently used G410 3 wood with Alta CB stiff shaft. Loft is 14.5 degrees. Length is standard. Club is in great shape. Crown is perfect. Face is almost mint - has just a couple specs from hitting balls. Comes with headcover as well. Price is $old Ping G410 4 Hybrid Gently used G410 4 hybrid with Alta CB stiff shaft. Loft is 22 degrees. Length is standard. Club is also in great shape. Crown is perfect. Just very minor wear on face from hitting balls. Comes with headcover. Price is $old Ping G425 Max: New/mint Ping G425 Max driver 9 degree with Tensei Orange Raw stiff shaft. Ordered customer from Ping to play standard length (45 1/4) with a regular Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 grip. So no Arccos grip. For those that don't know, if you buy this off the shelf with Arccos, when you change the grip, the length of the club shortens by a little more than 1/4 an inch. I hit this club less than 10 times on the range and decided I'd stick with my original GMax. Not a mark anywhere on the club. Would pass for brand new. Including the Ping wrench, headcover and also throwing in an extra weight if you want to lower swing weight a bit (extra weight is 23 grams vs 26 grams that is standard with the club). Price is $old No trades. Shipping to CONUS only. 3 Wood Hybrid Driver pin 9/4
  4. Played first 18 with my X5/X7 combo set. Bought these and a set of 921 forged a couple of months ago. After 3 range sessions, sold the mizunos. Liked the feel of the v soles. I hit the ball so well with my irons today I was shocked how good I played. 12 handicap and haven’t played in 3 months due to a hand injury. Last round before I got hurt was an 80 with my t200s. Went out today in high winds down here in south Florida and shot an 81. Almost every iron I hit was pure. Shorter tight course so hit the X5 5 iron off multiple tees. Every time was nice high draws. Think I only missed 2 shots with my irons today. And loved the x7 pw for chipping too. Definitely made the right decision with my combo set. X5 irons very forgiving and nice high ball flight. And my X7s from shorter distances flew lower and straighter. also modus 105 shafts are amazing. My first set with them and they are fantastic. Have always played with true temper shafts but the modus shafts are smooth. Really happy with this purchases. Thanks again @pdiddy3.
  5. Quick update. Sold the Mizunos. I’m sticking with the Srixon’s as my gamers. Couple reasons I went with the Srixons. My backup set are Titleist T200s. So I was comparing the 921s and Srixons to be my gamers. Felt the 921s were too similar to my t200s. Head sizes were about the same and the soles are the same as well. Main difference between the two is the Mizunos are definitely a bit softer. But the t200s are more forgiving. So of the two, I’d probably game the t200s over the Mizunos. But to me, the Srixons are totally different. Mainly because of the v sole. The v sole set them apart from the Mizunos and my t200s. Over the last 7 years, I’ve dealt with hand, wrist and elbow injuries from playing too much golf:) One of the injuries led to a surgery that knocked me out from golf for over a year. And once again I’ve been dealing with some tendinitis after 3 long range sessions off mats in a row in December. Nothing worse for my body than hitting off mats. To me, the vsoles feel like they are taking a bit of the force out of hitting the ground. And that’s exactly what I need at this point in my life. The feel is just completely different when you hit the dirt compared to the mizunos and my t200s. They just glide through. So the only thing that’s a bit of an internal debate right now is if I split the Srixons right. I split at 7/8. Going to play them for a couple of months but might add the 7 iron in X7, because I do like the feel of the X7s better than the X5s. I’m also a high ball hitter, so I don’t need the launch help. Just need a little help with forgiveness. Hoping these srixons can be my gamers for the next couple years.
  6. Mizuno JPX 921 Forged Irons For sale is a barely used set of Mizuno JPX 921 Forged irons 5-Gap wedge with custom Black Nippon Modus 105 stiff shafts. As you can see from the pics, the faces have barely any wear. Standard lengths, lofts and lies. MCC+4 Align grips. 5 iron and Gap wedge shafts had small scratches on rear side of ferrule that my club builder tried to cover when he was doing some work for me. The marks are barely noticeable (see pics). Can't see them at all from address. Bought these from a fellow WRXer to go head to head with my new Srixon X5/X7 irons. Going with the Srixons mainly because of the v soles (although I think the Mizuno's feel a bit softer). No need to wait 2 months ordering new from Mizuno. I'll get these to you within a week! Looking for $old. True Temper XP 95 Stiff Shafts Pulls Also for sale are a set of True Temper XP95 stiff shafts, pulled from my Titleist T200s. These were in 5-Gap (7 shafts). Were standard length when I ordered them from Titleist. They were professionally pulled. Looks like 5 iron measures to 37 inches. Grips are pretty much new standard Tour Velvets, logo down. Looking for $old (what else would it be). New these would cost you around $225 with the grips. No trades. Shipping to CONUS only. Let me know if you have any questions. pin 2/14
  7. Had to get a cortisone shot in my hand so I’m out of commission for a couple of weeks. But have been chipping in the back yard and to me the jpx 921 wedge feels softer than my x7 wedge. jpx irons look smaller than both X5 and X7s. that’s all I can share so far. Will try to get out to the range in a couple of weeks.
  8. It’s def a sickness. I mean who buys another set of clubs before they tried a brand new set they just bought. Plus I have a set of barely used t200s that I’m sure hate me right now for giving them no love. I blame this website for enabling me.
  9. First time out at the range with my new clubs. Refresher - I did an X5/x7 combo split 7/8. 12 handicap. Also first time ever hitting Srixons off dirt vs mats. First impressions - these are great clubs. Have been dealing with a hand injury so haven’t hit balls for 5 weeks. So was expecting to hit the ball poorly. Surprisingly hit the ball well and I think the clubs had a lot to do with it. I am generally a very shallow swinger so was concerned I wouldn’t like the v sole base on feedback I’ve read on this site. I actually loved them. Made me more confident to hit down on the ball and take nice divots. X7 feels much better than the X5. X7 feels like butter when you hit it pure. X5 feels harder but faster. I probably could have gotten the X7 7 iron because I didn’t have any issue hitting the 8 iron. But need more reps on course over time to see if I made the right split. Since I have problems, last night I picked up a set of Jpx 921 forged irons off of BST. I was debating for months which to go with. I got good dealson both, (thank you @pdiddy3 and @JourdanM) so I’ll play both for a bit and just keep the one I like more. Thought it would be better to scratch the itch now vs always wondering. Even though it was one range session, Srixons will be hard to beat. I think the v soles are the real deal. If you’ve never tried them, I suggest you do. For my fellow shallow swingers who want to try to take more of a divot (which I do), the v sole actually makes you feel more confident to swing down and not hit it fat.
  10. I went to the range this morning for the first time since getting my set. First impressions - these are great clubs. Have been dealing with a hand injury so haven’t hit balls for 5 weeks. So was expecting to hit the ball poorly. Surprisingly hit the ball pretty well. X5 feels harder and faster. I probably could have gotten the X7 7 iron because I didn’t have any issue hitting the 8 iron. If you are in the border, my advice would be go with X5 7 iron if you are more cornered with forgiveness/performance. If you care more about feel, go X7. Last night I picked up a set of Jpx 921 forged irons off of BST. Was a good deal and I really want to compare the two against each other. Both irons have the same exact shafts, so there will be no other variables. Just which one I prefer.
  11. Pdiddy is the man! Hooked me and my dog up:) Much appreciated.
  12. I thought the Tour shaft is low launching / lower spinning option and Tensei Orange was mid launch / mid spin option. Alta high launch / high spin.
  13. Haven’t hit them yet. Won’t be able to this weekend but hoping to next weekend. Will report back.
