1. If you look on Ping's instagram they have stated in multiple replys that the G425s will be launched in early January in North America.
 2. Took my first lesson from Mark last week. Great guy and he knows the golf swing. His first question was "How did you find out about me ?". No pretensions and you can tell he is enthusiastic about helping you improve. He still coaches college golf along with his podcasts ,announcing and giving lessons. All class and has that easy going South African vibe i.e. Louis, Ernie ,Retief with a little dose of Gary Player's enthusiasm thrown in.
 3. Congrats to our own Hollobacght. He won the World Hickory Match Play beating some of the best hickory players in the game. He beat Jeremy Moe in the final. Way to go Ben!

Wish I could find a similar outing of like minded hickory players here in Georgia. I think they are having a little event in Birmingham this week, but I was a little late in getting started to enter.
I'm in the process of forming a Georgia hickory play group. Right now I'm hoping to hold our first outing at the end of May, Hopefully I'll know more in a week or so. 8. Swinging smoother is not a bad thing! I am not getting any younger, so the shafts being a bit soft shouldn't be a long term problem.

I had tried to get them to make this bag for me a few years ago.
You are right, I just used it to separate the woods and it is perfect. I don't know why the product description says it is to carry a sweater.
 10. Tad, Ben beat me to it . It is a Belding American collection soft vintage bag. They say the strap is to hold a sweater, but I haven't figured out how it works. As Ben said it is a great simple bag . Torque may be the wrong word, just feels like a lot of kick thru impact. I ordered stiff shafts, so I don't know?

Also enjoyed your on-the-course impressions from your round. We never ramble around here, we just like to offer up detailed discussions of our observations of things. A 77 is an excellent score first time out with your hickory sticks. Actually, anytime playing any clubs in my book. As part of my continuing education on hickory golf clubs (becoming increasingly fascinated by the ideas discussed here), would you mind posting a WITP of your c

 13. Well, I recieved my Louisville set on Friday and played my first full hickory round today. Played the whites at 5504 yards and shot 77. Pretty pleased with that. Made 3 birdies andway to many short game related bogies . I just tried to keep the ball in play off the tee and did a reasonable job of it. The main challenge swing wise was dealing with the torque . It kind of felt like a soft flex flighed shaft with a noticeable kick through impact. Swinging very smoothly and not rushing from the top kept it mostly in check. I'm not trying to start a debate here but just wanted to give my impre
