1. I play better on course that force me to play more under control.
2. I can see that. I imagine if they do that one set of nine will start on the Current #10, then go out to 7 new holes and return on the current #11. The other 9 would start on the current #12 go to 2 new holes and finish the existing 13-18. I make that assumption based on the location of the huge practice green and it would break the redundancy of 10,11 and 12 back to back to back.
3. If you look at the satellite view on Google maps you can see the plot of land they likely have for the additional 9. It runs alongside the front 9 and behind the current clubhouse.

It's an OK course, conditions are pretty good, but there had to be a better way to design the back 9.
That's the biggest knock I've heard on the course... I don't quite understand the issue though. I've certainly seen worse. Is it the contour of the back or what?
Let me know when and Ill give you a tour. Also I think the new 9 will be on the same side of the road as the Clubhouse and Front 9. I would i
5. I had a major case of the shankers with my irons!
6. Just went out for a quick 9 and probably had the most horrific 9 hole round I've had in 15 years. I was hitting my driver about 280 straight down the Middle on every hole, as for y Iron play I might as well have been playing left handed. shot a 56 with 6 of 7 fairways hit!
7. I just played the Merriweather South course ou tin Hillsboro... Save your Money.
8. I'm starting to hate Chehalem Glenn. It's an OK course, conditions are pretty good, but there had to be a better way to design the back 9.
9. I have teh Iron Gym pull up bar too, and it's no problem at all and I'm 215lbs. As for the if your really out of shape question... Not a good idea. The same trainer has some other programs he recommends to get you into condition to be able to do p90x.
10. I just found out that I also have a ear in my medial Meniscus, but due to having Kaiser insurance I have no clue how severe until I get to see the Ortopedic Surgeon on AUgust 13th.... Good to see many others have had similar issues. Bow knowing my insurance plan I expect to get into recovery phase sometime this fall.
11. Just a quick question, I understand that some people need more loft than others, but does anyone hit less accurately with more loft than less?
12. MAcGregor is legendary in many senses though. Most people who started golf in the last 15 years still think og the WalMart box set of clubs legacy. Then you have the MacTec memories. Honestly Mac has been really fighting to regain their image, but they have been floundering to find their "New" identity. The 2008 MT line was what they needed, but it was too late. There was a pretty glaring gap from about 2003 to 2008 where they had the chance and missed. Obviously though the real legacy is the Majors count, dominating the game for most of the last 100 years, etc..etc.. I don't doubt that Mac
13. Alpha is pretty good too.
14. Off a tee or off the deck?
15. My bag is set now too. Once I get set I don't change for 5+ years. But I still like reading about and trying new stuff at the range if I can get my hands on it. I've had my burrent Irons for about 5 years now and I haven't yet hit anything that was enough better to justify the expense and adjustment of changing.
