  1. Yes, Tiger is back and Marana is ready to welcome him back.
  2. Yes 100% job placement but it may not be a golf job in the area that you want or the area of the country etc. Even with the economy, I know students who have been turned down for internships or laid off of jobs. I feel like the market will be very saturated soon with 20 PGM schools in the country now.
  3. If you plan on double majoring at Methodist please make sure you quadruple check all the classes you need to take and the requirements. Please don't be a 5th year senior taking your last class online while you live all the way across the country and already have a full time job in place. Methodist University is what you make of it. If you purse many clubs and activities and make great friendships and contacts then it will definitely help you in the long run. The school provides you with great contacts but it's up to you to keep living the dream after you leave campus.
  4. I do not own one but it's nice when one of my playing partners has one. I walk most of the time on the course and am used to using the sprinkler heads to yardage.
  5. Looks like a great idea but a cheap college student like me would not buy it. hahaha

  7. Taken from the USGA website: ENTRIES – A total of 3,106 entries were accepted for the 2007 championship. The championship is open to male amateur golfers who will not have reached their 18th birthday on or before July 23, 2007, and who have a USGA Handicap Index not exceeding 6.4. Entries closed June 6. The 2007 championship was the 12th consecutive time that entries have topped 3,000. The largest entry was 4,508 in 1999. http://www.usjunioram.org/
  8. I'll be celebrating my birthday at that one ;)
  9. I usually have to wear my winter coat a couple of times but that's it. Otherwise I wear sweaters all the time in the winter. Lately we've been having highs in the 30s or 40s which is low for this area.
  10. My favorite is the little kid hitting five golf balls in a row.
  11. I'm disappointed there aren't more in the north myself. I haven't been farther north than New Jersey and I was looking forward to it.
  12. Congratulations to the proud owner of a Scotty! Hope it brings you many magical putting memories. :)
  13. My Summer Internship I know it's early to start thinking about the summer. These tournaments are open to boys and girls the ages of 13-18. If you go to the website, it has a list of all the sites for this year. I will be part of their full-time staff this summer and look forward to helping with the tournaments. I will be in charge of media, press releases, and interviewing players. Hope you can fit a couple of the tournaments into your schedule! :)
