  1. On no, you didn't say anything wrong at all. I'm just being pun-ie and airing out my frustrations with another golf company that is making it a habit of copying stuff. > @JunkerJorge said: > > @finalist said: > > Similar is an understatement. Compare the pic above of the art shown to their release that just sold out today... And they were worried their Pizza rat was copying ScOtTy too much. At least skulls are original - oh wait, never mind. > > > > > > > > > > > @JunkerJorge said: > > > > @finalist said: > >

  3. Ironic you said, “Swag.” Looks like Swag golf liked the Byron pop art covers so much they used the same art we mocked up in 2016. Let’s see how much they make first. > @JunkerJorge said: > > @finalist said: > > > > > > > > Do you guys want to see some behind the scenes head cover designs? 4. Do you guys want to see some behind the scenes head cover designs? These are mock-ups that never got made from around 2016.
  5. > @"Aviador Naval" said: > Byron’s website has been down a few days. Anybody know why: updates, standard IT headaches, business model change..? It will be back up soon.

  7. The new site seems ok. The new Puttertalk.com is definitely the one to model after. It’s clean as can be.
  8. Not yet sold, but one deal pending when I hear back and another waiting for Byron to check spec sheet for weight.
  9. From my personal collection as Art Director of Byron Design I'm offering a Brushed Bronze Byron B17. Brushed Bronze Byron B17 100% new: Rincon neck Stepless shaft, 35" Aprox. 350 grams Brushed Bronze finish over stainless Deep milled tuna face B17 Bomber girl head cover White Byron Design logo Pure grip Tiffany style shaft band Blank sole Rounded topline AND this putter has never been used or even been outside in the sun light. priced dropped... $650 Or Best Offer, includes shipping. -- Ryan Holcomb Actual Putter:
  10. Typically Byron will grind the sole to reduce weight.
  11. putters have different feel because of the design MUCH more so than material. More material behind impact will dampen feel making it feel "softer." Same with grip, flex shaft, sole thickness etc. GSS is PURE marketing hype. GSS got its start in putter world because at one point it was cheaper to import German steel rather than buy American steel. Tiger's putter was made with German steel and the rest is history. ...or rather marketing.
  12. Yes, Scotty has the hands of an accountant. When the IPO goes through the Cameron brand will be around long after Scotty. The TaylorMade valuation should make this a good one. Don't worry, the corporate/shareholder structure should be dictating 009s be pumped out by the truck load soon enough.
  13. Long term value... after Scotty retires Titleist will continue to make Cameron putters. Once Byron retires that's it. We'll see which holds value long after the sun sets.
  14. Byron is a small American business owner. The other guy is a working mascot for a subsidiary of a huge Korean corporation. Aloha!
  15. No, he's usually more concerned with matching his shirt to his car. The best part of this release is the grey shirt he sports in the ads. It matches the putter aesthetics and his hair well.
  16. You guys at Bettinardi (Sammy B. and Hawkeyegolfer ) should get a hold of Joyce at Legend Times Golf in China. She is saying her Chinese company is making your covers. I think she is trying to woo some new business by sending me pics of your covers and saying they are made in China. I'd hate for you guys to get taken like that. Edit: If you would like I'll forward her company's emails asking for some business and showing your putter covers as samples. Maaaan, the Chinese markets are crazy, huh? American Made is where it's at.
