Had my 1st club come back in 30 years!!! Broken shaft in Cleveland driver. Got new adapter from Billy Bob's, New shaft, glued er all up and 3 months later the adapter has come loose from the shaft. Took it apart and there was almost no glue on the inside of the adapter. So I took sanding tool and really roughed up the inside of the adapter and re glued and will see what happens?? My question is: Should we as a matter of course rough up the inside of these aluminum adapters.? I've just about totally retired and don't have a lot of experience with these adapters as most of my work was before they got in vogue. This one had some machined grooves in the inside but I never thought of abrading it too. help an old guy out here !! Thanks, OBTW, My first post here so be merciful!!

Is anyone gaming the Cleveland RTX4s my sm7s have been in the bag since the release date and are thoroughly worn down. I’m def not liking the looks of the new sm8s I guess the performance will be great as always, but we will have to see. The prices dropping of the RTX4s are very appealing and they coke stock with TI s400s. Let me here the good the bad and the ugly haha.

What feedback or reviews are about the new Mavrik Iron Wedges? I have always used the PW and AW, but and considering the complete Mavrik set through GW and SW instead of 1-2 separate traditional wedges. Thoughts, opinions, or review suggestions to watch?

Not much of an exciting topic, but if you're like me, you find these clubs special. I've always wondered what wedges everyone commonly prefers to have in there bag. I personally carry 56 and 60 degree Cleveland wedges that were made about 15 years ago as they were the first that were given to me in my first golf set and I still use them to this day. I also find that they are also the most commonly used wedge degrees. I do however love having a 52 degree for certain par 3's because of the loft and distance it's able to carry. I was turned on to it by a buddy of mine who I started playing with a few months back. He let me use it the first couple times we played together and I decided I had to get one for myself just because of how versatile it is for my style of play. Great for lay ups, lobs from 120 yards out, bump and runs, distance bunkers, etc. I actually prefer it to a pitching wedge in most cases. However, I learned to play with the 56 and 60 and my short game is shaped around those two clubs. My 60 is my most used club as I feel more confident with my chips onto the green and I get a better open feel when hitting out of the bunkers with it than my 56 sand wedge. If you had to carry two wedges for the rest of your life, what would they be (degree, make, model) and why?

Vokey SM7 over night naval jelly bath definitely took the brushed steel finish down to a dull satin but on the 56° (bent to 55°) it took some of the plating with it. Make an offer I figured the shafts are worth it to someone and brand new GP Full Cord BCT on each. 55&60 have black onyx s400 (like all black shafts some paint chipping) and 50 has KBS tour Custom flat black 130x 9 iron shaft. 50 is bent to 49° 08F Grind 56 is bent to 55° 08M Grind 60 is standard 08M Grind mall standard length/lie $100 obo for all 3 Next are (USED 1 TIME) I know I know still used. I have a set of raw Cleveland RTX 4s for sale. They are 50, 54 and 58* with KBS Tour 610 shafts in stiff flex. They are also + 1/2” in length. All wedges were used for a range session and a couple rounds. They are practically new with a nice patina starting on them. Wedges Sold! I am also selling a Spider Tour X with its head over. It is in mint condition. It has only been rolled for one round but could not beat out my gamer. It is 35” in length and has the original Superstroke Pistol GTR grip. Asking $225 shipped. Head is in good condition, a few small marks on the top line from use. Shaft band is mint and the Cameron Matador midsize grip is in good shape as well (see photos). 2. Cleveland Elevado - 35" - **$55 shipped to your door** - This is somewhat of a frankenputter right now. Originally started as a 38" counterbalanced putter that I recently cut down to 35" as an experiment so it's rather head-heavy right now, but still feels pretty good honestly. Would probably work better with a counterbalanced grip installed on it. Head is in great shape and the grip (Lamkin Deep Etched Paddle) is brand spanking new. 3. 2018 Ping Hoofer Stand Bag - Red/White/Blue Color Scheme - **SOLD!!!** - I used this bag for a couple of months last Fall but got my own cart over the Winter and switched over to a cart bag.
