  1. As happy as I am to be the proud new owner of a set of Mavrik irons, their stronger lofts have presented me with a bit of a gapping issue and purchasing problem. I need some advice. The loft of the PW in this set is 41 degrees (per their spec sheet). The loft on my next highest-lofted club, a Titleist Vokey SM5, is 52 degrees. I use it as my Gap Wedge. My dilemma is this: Should I opt for 1) The Mavrik's A-Wedge option, with a stock loft of 46 degrees (this is the same loft as the PW i previously used) -or- 2) A wedge specific product (Vokey, Cleveland, etc.) falling in the 46-48 degree range Thanks everyone!
  2. Have some items to move on down the road! Prices include continental USA shipping and PayPal fees. If you buy more than one item I will make a deduction for combined shipping. Not interested in any trades at this time. Prices are based on Ebay sold listings & Callaway Preowned website, but I will entertain reasonable offers. Due to high shipping costs and PayPal fees I'd rather not ship to Canada at this time unless you're willing to make up the difference. Awesome set of Callaway Epic Forged E19 irons 4-GW plus a MD Jaws raw 56 degree sand wedge. Steelfiber FC90 F4 stiff shafts, XP95 steel on the Jaws. Custom BB&F Co ferrules on all but the 4 iron. Irons are in great shape, 5 iron only hit a handful of times, 4 iron has never been on the course. Crazy strong lofts but they fly high and stop on a dime. Callaway's cost no object high tech irons. These look great, their size is well hidden by the design and they feel great. Low use Golf Pride MCC+4 grips standard size on the 6-Gap, tour velvet on the rest. This is a 9pc iron set plus the Jaws wedge, so 10 clubs total. Trying to thin the herd in my garage, so not looking for trades at this time. Well over $2k new for these, asking $750 shipped in the lower 48. Here is a beautiful Callaway Custom shop Mavrik Max 10.5 driver with Evenflow Riptide 50g 6.0 stiff shaft playing standard length. Golf Pride standard size TourVelvet grip. The orange color way is replaced with blue on this driver and gold trim. Looks fantastic. Great shape, used a handful of rounds but the PING G425 kicked it out of my bag (barely). $230 shipped includes nice upgraded Callaway Customs head cover and adjustment tool. Next up is a Callaway Mavrik 15 degree 3 wood playing standard length with an Evenflow Riptide 6.0 stiff flex 60g shaft and Golf Pride Tour Velvet standard size grip. Club is in excellent condition but has a very small nick in the paint on the backside near the hosel. Asking $140 shipped for this club. Next up is a PING G400 17.5 degree 5 wood that can be lofted up or down. Has a regular flex Ping TOUR 65 shaft and Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip playing standard length. Small bag wear mark on the shaft, tried to capture it in a photo. No head cover on this one. Asking $SOLD!!! Next are two PING G410 hybrids, 19 degree 3 hybrid and a 22 degree 4 hybrid both with Ping Alta CB 70 gram regular flex shafts with Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips playing standard length. Both include head covers and are in similar condition. Asking $140 EACH shipped.
  3. What is the standard bounce of the Callaway Mavrik Sand Wedge? Interested in this sand wedge as 1 of the last 2 clubs in the bag, but hoping to learn more about the specs prior to deciding on another wedge of 60-64.
  4. Selling Mavrik Max LH driver head only. 10.5 degrees. Used for one season. Still in great shape. Will also include head cover and wrench. Don’t make me go to eBay $160 shipped in CONUS
  5. Hey all, I just recently got fitted for and purchased a set of Callaway Mavrik irons (standard, 4-PW, 2Up Lie Angle). They felt amazing during the fitting and I'm really hoping they can add some length to my game and maybe help knock down my handicap from a 12 to a 10 or less. The new Mavriks are due to be delivered mid-April, I've been playing my Adams Idea a7 set for over a decade. They still feel as good as ever and I get these creeping thoughts of whether or not I should just stick with them for a while longer. The new tech with the Mavriks seems almost like cheating when compared to the a7s, but I've got to get with the times (or maybe I just like making things more difficult in an already difficult game). Would the Mavriks be too far into the GI irons category or should I have gone with something more in the Player's Distance category? Thanks!
  6. Clearing some clubs out of the garage. Callaway Super Hybrids, 17 degree and 20 degree. Both with Tensei Orange stiff flex shafts standard length and head covers. Golf Pride standard size grips. Excellent condition. $SOLD Ping G425 MAX 3 wood with Alta CB 65 stiff shaft & head cover. Great condition. $225 shipped. PXG 0341 Proto 5 wood with Aldila NVS Orange 55g regular flex shaft, PXG "oversize" grip, magnetic PXG head cover and PXG tool. $225 shipped. Taking reasonable offers before they get sold to 2nd Swing. Callaway Mavrik 15 degree 3 wood in excellent shape with headcover. EvenFlow Riptide 60g stiff flex shaft standard length and standard size Golf Pride grip. $150 PXG 0317X Proto 25 degree hybrid with nice magnetic head cover. Aldila orange 85 "R" flex shaft playing at 38.5". Adjustment wrench included. Lamkin PXG oversize grip. Excellent condition, $150. Cleveland CBX 52 & 56 degree wedges DG 115 shafts stock length with Golf Pride grips. $90 each shipped or $150 shipped for the pair. All prices include shipping to the lower 48. Bundle and save. Will give price breaks if you buy more than one club.
  7. Hello- I'm currently in the market for a new driver, but don't want to pay top dollar for the brand new lines(looking at the 2020 releases). For some background, I currently game a 9.5 Ping i15 which I've absolutely love. I nuke the ball even though the face is starting to feel a bit dead now. Handicap is 6 and my swing speed is generally 110+, although it can be inconsistent. I've looked at the Mavrik and the sub zero but feel like the sub might not be forgiving enough. The G410 and LST models look good too, is there really one better than the other or is it more getting fit to notice more of a difference?

  9. I've been looking over the whopping 15 different Mavrik driver models on the USGA conforming list, and wanted to know the different nuances each model has compared to others in it's category. I have many questions, and I don't need sleep, I need answers! Mavrik: shelf model Mavrik single diamond: has subzero weight configuration. is that the only thing that's different from the standard mavrik? how does it compare to a shelf subzero model? Mavrik (version 3): no graphic on face. again, is the graphic the only difference? Mavrik 440: obvious things are obvious Mavrik max tour: missing face graphic. same question? Mavrik Max: shelf model Mavrik Max single diamond: has weight in front instead of heel, as in subzero. How does it compare to the single diamond Mavrik and the shelf subzero? Mavrik Max LS: has LS on the heel, also doesn't have the heel weight. does LS mean low spin on a Max? this one seems like it has a lot of overlap with the standard Mavrik, the Max, and maybe even the GBB B21 as an attempt at a low spin forgiving model. Mavrik Max Fast: single heel weight, carbon fiber sole, different paint scheme, bonded hosel. this one is pretty obviously aimed at removing weight from the head by cutting out features present in other heads, and is probably a lower cost option, too. Mavrik Max Lite: same as the fast, just with the regular color scheme. I suspect the fast is for Japan, and the Lite is for USA, and they're meant to be the *star version of the Mavrik Mavrik subzero tour: missing face graphic. only difference? Mavrik Sub Zero: Shelf model Mavrik Sub Zero single diamond: Can't tell any differences other than the missing face graphic. how is it different than any of the other single diamonds or even the shelf sub zero? Mavrik Sub Zero Triple Diamond: no explanation needed here. it's the only tour model that I can find plenty of results for, and lots of them. Mavrik Sub Zero Triple Diamond LS: this one baffles me, tbh, I have no idea what to make of it. Sorry for the wall, but there's a literal wall's worth of Mavrik models to learn about, and hardly any information out there to learn from. any input or info is appreciated

Trade interests and I can add cash (I require text exchange and discussion before trades will be done) Milled or Custom Putters in the mid mallet design or wide blade (face balance or slight toe hang only, no plumber’s) Toulon Chicago, Scotty Squareback or Fastbacks, Odyssey 7s or Stroke lab 7 Taylormade SIM Driver head only or shafted with upgraded shaft Callaway Mavrik or Flash Sub Zero Ping iBlades or i210 5-P - black, red, orange dot Mizuno 919 Forged or Tour 5-P in standard to flat lies Onto the goods... Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless 2.5 - SOLD Bought this one from a member and have gamed it on occasion. I’m better with my Spider and this sits behind my Swag in line, so might as well see what’s out there. It was refinished (no idea by whom) but it looks fantastic and is quite clean. It plays 34” (see pic) gripped with a Scotty Pistolero and protected with the Royal Major head cover. Callaway Mavrik 10.5 with options - Head only with weights, cover, wrench - $SOLD - With the Pro White - Still have - With the Pro Blue - Still have This one was bought new by me when they came out and gamed most of the year. Great looks, great sound, solid feel, and LONG! It’s been a stalwart for me but I’ve since fallen for the 410 LST/ADIZ combo so tossing this up. It’s clean minus usual wear on the face. The bottom paint fill was painted by me to black simply because I hated the white color. Measurements for the shafts are below and played 44.75” for the white, 44.5” for the blue. The white is untipped but the ferrule was spinning so I cut it off, some tip prep evident and has a newer MCC Align. The blue is tipped an inch and has an extension in the grip (I bought it this way), not sure of length but can cut and check. Grip could stand to be replaced but I can toss one in. The ferrule is also "loose" for full disclosure but none of the adapters are as I played both shafts throughout the season. It comes with 5g, 10g, and 14g weights, wrench, and head cover as well!
