  1. Just joined WRX and am loving the site so far for sure! Picked up the sticks for the first time in over 10 yrs back in June...one of the only positives of this COVID time has been the extra time to re-learn the game, and I’ve been bitten by the golfing bug Big Time! My previous clubs were all entry-level, low quality, and outdated, so upgraded my whole bag piece by piece over the last 5 months and am finally at the point where I feel good about my set-up and can’t wait to pick some courses appart next season!! Here’s my WITB: Driver: Callaway Rogue (9* @ 10*) Shaft: Aldila Synergy Blue 50 S 3-wood: Callaway Rogue (15*) Shaft: Aldila Synergy Blue 60 S (68g) Hybrid 4: Callaway Rogue X (20*) Shaft: Aldila Synergy Blue 60 S (68g) Irons: TaylorMade Tour Preferred MC (3-7), TaylorMade Tour Preferred MB (8-PW) Shafts: True Temper XP 95 S300 (+1”, +1* upright) Wedges: TaylorMade Milled Grind (52-09, 56-12, 60-10) Shafts: True Temper Dynamic Gold (+1.25”) Putter: TaylorMade Redline Monza (36") Grip: Lamkin Deep Etched Golf Ball: TaylorMade V3 Speed/Noodle Long and Soft Grips: Lamkin Crossline Black Midsize

  9. Hey guys, finally getting around to clearing out the golf closet in the new year, just a few weeks late. All prices are OBRO shipped US. 1) Mizuno JPX 919 Forged 4-PW, T20 50* gap wedge. Decent shape, can tell they were gamers for a year or so, some browning on 7/8 iron as main practice clubs. Modus 120S shafts, pretty new MCC+4 standard grip (plus 2 wraps). 0.75" over standard, 1* upright. $450 2) PXG mixed set: Gen2T 5-PW, Gen2P 4 iron and Gen3T 4 iron. Gamers for a couple of months, in good shape. I didn't get along with the offset of the P so ordered the T 4 iron but they didn't carry Gen2 anymore. All are Elevate Tour X shafts +0.5", standard lie. The Ts have standard Tour Velvet +4 (plus 2 wraps) in good shape, the P 4 iron has the stock PXG midsize grip and is 1* weak loft. $425 3) PXG 0311 Forged Gen2 50* wedge. 36" playing length with Elevate Tour X wedge shaft and MCC+4 standard (plus 3 wraps). Ideally will include with the PXG set for $450 total, or can sell separately for $60 4) Callaway Epic Flash SubZero 15* 3W: Have the stock Aldila Rogue Silver 70x shaft and a GD Tour AD IZ 7X. I believe both playing at 43". Can tell it's used but plenty of life left. MCC+4 standard on Aldila, MCC+4 align on the AD IZ. Will do $225 for everything, or split up and sell AD IZ for $150 and 3W plus Aldila for $100, includes stock headcover. 5) Odyssey Stoke Lab 7S 35": lost the headcover, a few dings and nicks here and there but very much still useable. I'll do $100. 6) Callaway Big Bertha Alpha 816 14* 3W: Bought off the used rack at the local shop a while back and had some good times with it, absolute bomber playing 44" at 14* loft. Some sort of stock Aldila Rogue 60s that was too light and flexible for me is in there, with an MCC+4 grip on it. I'll do $60 solo or if buying multiple things we can work out a good deal. 7) Footjoy premiere Tarlow White/Navy 14M: bought them without realizing I needed to go down a size in FJs, wore them for a round or two before accepting they were too big but waited too long to return/exchange. $85 for any big footed fellow out there. Old Wedges: I've got some old vokeys I'll flip for however much shipping costs plus SOLD each, or will include with other orders if wanted. SM6 52* 12F jet black and SM6 56* 10S both have plenty of life left in the grooves and newish MCC+4 grips, the SM5 60* 08M with an old stock grip has seen better days but happy to include if anyone wants it. All are standard L/L/L with stock shaft. SOLD Pictures: Mizuno Irons: PXG Irons: PXG Wedge: Epic Flash SubZero 3W: Odyssey: BB Alpha 816 3W: Footjoys: Vokeys:

  11. Hi Everyone, I'm relatively new to the game and I'm excited to share WITB. The purpose of this bag is longevity and development. My purpose with this bag is to not chop and change but to have 14-15 clubs that I know work for years to come. I've been conscious in selecting my clubs in trying to maintain fluidity in the swing weight, ability, my potential, etc. I'm currently a member of an indoor driving range that I visit 3-4 times a week that has a dedicated trackman for each bay. I also take a lesson every fortnight. I aim to play once a fortnight but, weather where I am, has been horrendous (largest amount of rainfall on record and wettest July on record). The make up of this bag has been largely done with the help of my PGA pro, whom, I've been seeing on a fortnightly basis. Feel free to ask questions, criticise, give guidance - whatever. So here goes: About me: I had been averaging a 85-88 mph swing speed with a 7 iron (had is due to some rotational swing changes and has slowed down to 82-83 recently) and 95mph in Driver swing speed. I'm a digger in my AoA (average 5 degrees down) and have an in-to-out swing. My miss is generally a pull due to lack of rotation in the takeaway. My aim: I want to be averaging scores of 90 (18 handicap) in the next 2-3 years. I know that if I reach this goal, I'll want to go down lower but I want something that, right now, feels attainable within this timeframe to achieve. At the moment, I'm yet to break 100 at my local course (Par 72, Slope 136). Ball: Titleist ProV1x Why: I like the compression it offers and I like the feedback it offers when I don't hit it well. I've recently bought a couple boxes of TP5x Pix to try so it may change but not drastically. Driver: Cobra SZ Xtreme 9.0 Shaft: Tensei White 65 Stiff Flex (standard length) Grip: Golf Pride MCC+4 Midsize with 3 papers Adjustment: Sitting in Standard loft with draw setting and a 19g weight in the head to counter the heavier grips Why: This is the first driver I bought, it came with a Hazardus yellow 6.0 shaft that has been swapped out after a driver fitting. In the said driver fitting, I tried Stealth HD, Rogue ST Max D, G425 & G425 SFT - I couldn't hit them better than the SZ Xtreme - yes, it's me, but what was worthwhile was finding the Tensei White shaft and how much more better fit for me it is than the Hazardus. At the moment, it's the least confident club in the bag and the one I'm trying to work on the most. 3 wood: Titleist TSi3 15 Shaft: Tensei White 75 Stiff Flex (standard length) Grip: Golf Pride MCC+4 Midsize with 2 papers Adjustment: Sitting in A3 setting (16.5 degrees and 1.5 degrees upright - draw bias) and weight in the heel - I've ordered heavier swing weights (standard is 8 grams - moving to heaviest at 16 grams) Why: I've tried a couple of 3 woods and a 5 wood (Srixon ZX - underrated, Cobra Big Tour Radspeed - nope, not for me, G425 5 wood - great club but distance was lacking and played more like a 3 hybrid than a 3 wood) and I settled on the TSi3. I've gone with the TSi3 as I think it's great value, has the shaft that I felt comfortable with in the driver, and has an incredible range of adjustment. I can hit launch it well and I feel it's a club that I will gain more out of as I grow. I also want to be able to play a 3 wood and be good at it. P.S. ball speed has been impressive. 2 iron: Callaway X Forged UT 18 Shaft: Project X U Steel Shaft 6.0 110g (+1.25") Grip: Golf Pride MCC+4 Midsize with 3 papers Adjustments: Standard loft and lie Why: Where I live, there is an assortment of links courses that a 2 iron just makes sense. I also was recommended a 2 iron by my PGA pro due to my ability to hit down on the ball (AoA is averaging 5 degrees down) and he feels this may be a better option than a hybrid generally. I also feel this is a club that I will continue learning with and gain value as I grow. It's an experiment but I certainly enjoy hitting it. 3 hybrid: Titleist TSi3 20 Shaft: Tensei White 90 X-Stiff Flex (standard length) Grip: Golf Pride MCC+4 Midsize with 2 papers Adjustment: Sitting in A2 setting (standard loft with draw bias - 2 degrees upright) and weight in the heel - again, ordered heavier swing weights as I have with the TSi3 fairway Why: I love a hybrid - I like the set-up to a hybrid and it fills me with confidence even if I don't hit it well. I've got this on order (waiting for Titleist to source the shaft) and waiting on it to come in. Like the fairway, I'll be adding a heavier weight to the head to consider the heavier grip weight. I've gone with the TSi3 for the same reason as the fairway - I like the adjustability, I like that the shaft isn't an upcharge and I feel like I'll continue growing into it. I've tried other hybrids (Srixon & PING) but I love the TSi3 at address - it doesn't look closed (though it does when I have it in A2 setting) and it looks more iron-like. Irons: Callaway Rogue ST Pro 4-AW Shaft: True Temper Elevate 115 X-Stiff Flex VSS pro (+1.25") Grip: Golf Pride MCC+4 Midsize with 2 papers Adjustments: Standard loft and lie Why: I was originally using PING i200 w/ AWT 2.0 stiff shafts - I love the head of the PING i200 but for my ability, they were an aspirational club. My major issue with the PING i200 was the shafts - I found these irons brand new off the shelf in blue dot (1 degree up) and an inch longer in length (which I found out were only inch longer due to an insert which only made the flex more flimsy). I had a lot of confidence with the i200 6 iron down, but 5 iron up, I couldn't hit a barn door. I do better with a heavier swing weight and the ascending weights in these shafts just do not work well for me. So, I had a fitting with my PGA pro and tried several irons (T200, T300, P790, Stealth, Apex, and the i525) and the Rogue ST Pro came out on top (2nd was Stealth and 3rd was the i525). I wasn't that interested in the Rogue ST Pro prior to the fitting and the sound at impact wasn't the greatest but I loved them - it was like the Rogue ST Pro chose me. Wedges: Callaway Jaws Full Toe 54/12 & 58/10 Raw Black C-Grind Shaft: Dynamic Golf Spinner 115 Tour Issue (+1.25") Grip: Golf Pride MCC+4 Midsize with 3 papers Adjustments: Standard loft and lie Why: I was originally using Cleveland RTX Zipcore full face wedges (brilliant wedges) but the lofts were out of sync with the Rogue ST Pro. Instead of having 5 wedges (PW-43, AW-48, 52, 56, & 60), I changed to PW (43), AW (48), 54 & 58 and freed up a slot up the top of the bag. This simplified things for me and gives me more confidence when choosing which wedge to play. Putter: PING Anser 2021 Shaft: Standard PING Shaft (35") Grip: Standard PING pistol grip (PP58 S) Adjustments: none Why: Like the Driver, this was the first putter I bought - it works well for me and I feel really confident with it. One day in the future I may organise a fitting for a new putter but that won't be soon. Bag: Callaway Fairway 14 Stand Bag (Black) Why: I like having individual slots for each club and I find it annoying having to pull and replace clubs with larger midsize grips. By having 14 spaces, it just makes things a bit easier.
  12. Hey All, First time posting a WITB. Casual, life long player here that has taken about 5 years to go from old from hand-me-down, ill-fitting irons, to a bag I’m excited to play. After only playing 2-4 rounds a year I got serious last year with lessons and range time. I started with the irons in 2017. The 3, 4 hybrid and 5 woods are new to me and are recent Christmas upgrades from the no name 15+ year old woods I had. Wedges and putter were 2022 upgrades. Everything was purchased from callaway pre-owned (except the 5-wood, got on eBay in used but never hit condition) in new to very good condition. Only thing I’d like to swap is the bag for a Callaway one but I’d maintain the blue/black theme. Rogue (2018) Driver, regular flex Epic Max Strong 3 Wood, stiff flex Great Big Bertha 4 hybrid 23deg, SR flex Rogue 5 Wood, Stiff Flex XR OS irons 5-PW, reg flex Jaws MD5 Tour Grey Approach Wedge, stiff Jaws MD5 Tour Grey Sand Wedge, stiff Odyssey Stroke Lab Double-Wide Top Flight Cart Bag Either Vice Tour or Maxfli Tour ball
  13. I thought I would seek the advice of clubmaking experts on this question. I ordered a new Callaway Paradym driver and 3 wood from Callaway. I was able to specify the red (flat) cog for the driver (which I strongly prefer, since I am not that tall). I asked them for the same cog in the 3 wood, and they told me that is not an option without explaining why. So I ask the experts: Is there a reason that this would not work? Or is it that they simply don't want to muck up that part of the production process with cog customizations? Thank you in advance!
  14. Hi Folks, Looking for some advice. Thinking of upgrading my driver. Quick about me: RH golfer, I played as a kid, stopped, picked up golf again in my late twenties (early 30s now). Im largely self taught and have learnt about equipment etc, so I more or less want some advice to go out and find a head, with or without shaft (I like the shaft Ive got). I really don't mind snooping aorund the second hand market, and I hope there are a couple of inexpensive drivers that would work for me! Open to any/all brands. Basically how much better is a 2022 driver than a 2015, and are there any in between those years that are keeping up with newer models. Current stats: Not sure if Im missing anything critical, but here's what I know about my swing. My swing speed is 108ish. I have a pretty classic mishit: Toe hit that dips out of the sky and tugs left, or a high spin, right block. I am pretty consistent middle-ish strike of the face. I play off of a 10hcp. A good drive for me is 2000rpm spin, 13* launch and about 160ish ball speed, 275-280 carry usually. All these stats with the GBB 2015, 8* of loft, kurokage 50g stiff shaft. The problem: I feel as though the head spins a lot. I do have to consciously hit more of a slinging draw to get the spin lower. When I hit a straighter ball, or a higher fade (my more natural driver shape), the spin goes up really quickly, around 35-4500rpm, and I lose about 30-40yds. I don't mind hitting a draw Ive gotten used to it but I cant really do both with this club. I know this is also technique related, but I mean fade, not slice, and the ball just wants to climb really quickly right away. Its hard to explain I feel like I have to draw it to keep the spin down, and with other drivers Ive tried, I can swing a straighter-feeling, or fade swing and the spin doesnt go crazy like mine seems to. I picked up an LS from ping I think at the golf store and was hitting it well, but here in Canada it was like 800$ and I just cant reason with that lol. Any help appreciated! Thanks

  16. Got a lot of GREAT stuff here. These have all been hit very minimally and are things that just aren't going to make the bag and I'm at the point now where I can't hold on to stuff to try again later. Everything posted will be shipped the next business day and I will update with tracking info as soon as I possibly can. Please feel free to reach out for more pictures. PayPal or Venmo G&S only. No trade offers on these, please. I've pretty well tried everything I want to try iron-wise and already got anything new I want to try on the way. Just need to sell this stuff ASAP. Thanks! 1. Titleist TSR2+ 13°--Project X HZRDUS Gen4 6.0 (stiff) 60g stock shaft--GP Tour Velvet White--$OLD 2. Ping i230 4-UW--Aerotech Steelfiber 95g S--black dot (standard lie), power spec'd lofts, standard length--GP MCC+4 Blue--$OLD 3. Callaway Apex 21 Black edition 4-PW--Project X IO 6.0--1° flat lie, 1° weak lofts--standard length--GP Tour Velvet Align--Another fantastic set and they're gorgeous to boot. I've hit a few of the irons (primarily the 7 and only indoors), but there's not a single wear mark or anything on them yet. I know the stigma behind black irons and their wear, but these don't have ANY wear so far. These retail at $1505, but I'm looking to get $1200 $1000, shipped. 4. Vokey SM9 Jet Black 54.10 S & 58.10 S--Project X IO 6.0--1° flat lie, standard lofts and lengths--GP MCC+4 Blue--$OLD 5. Vokey SM9 Tour Chrome Wedgeworks 58.06 K--Project X IO 6.0--1° flat lie, standard loft and length--GP MCC+4 Blue--$OLD 6. Ping PLD Limited Edition Prime Tyne 4--35"--black dot--stock grip and shaft--This is the model released a few years back, not the current PLD PT 4. This one is made for people with slight arcs and looks amazing. Picked it up used a few weeks back hoping it would work and it's just not for me, which is a bummer, because I LOVE the murdered out look of it. I'll take a little loss on it, so looking for $360 $300, shipped. 7. Adidas Tour 360 22 Limited Edition Dustin Johnson/Wayne Gretzky collaboration shoes--size 9.5--Brand new, never been worn--I'm going to regret this, because I love The Great One and he's the primary reason I bought them, but I can't bring myself to wear them and honestly, I just don't know if I ever will. Not looking for a huge markup on them, so just looking for $250 $220, shipped. 8. Footjoy Premiere Series Packard, White/Navy--size 9.5 M--Same here with these. Never been worn and can't bring myself to wear them. Looking for $160 $135, shipped.

  18. I’ve been a big fan of the Chrome Soft family for a couple of years now. So when I had the opportunity to obtain what appears to be a “tour” ball, I jumped on it. I’m very excited to take these to the course and try them out. Just from the feel test, these seem to have a softer, “tackier” cover. As expected, I can’t find a single thing on the actual characteristics anywhere. With a quick search, the <<Chrome Soft X•>> is listed in a few different iterations on the USGA conforming ball website. One of them that has the same marking actually includes the “jumping Phil logo” . I’m reaching out here to see if anyone has info or experience with these. Would love to know more. Thanks!

  23. I have a Stroke Lab Black 10 putter with the Stroke Lab double bend shaft. I don't know why but I like a putter with no offset(could care less about toe hang) is it possible to put a single bend shaft in it?
  24. Thanks for looking. A couple of experiments and one old reliable up for sale. Not interested in any trades as I've got too much golf stuff. 1. Mint Titleist TSR3 8* w/GD XC 6X Shaft. Bought this brand new. No practice sessions just 3-4 holes. It's a bomber but I prefer my Callaway TD. Might be willing to sell the shaft and head separately if I have buyers for both. Also willing to swap the GD XC 6S I have for sale. I would provide a Titleist adapter, the buyer would need to install. SOLD 2. TaylorMade SIM2 10.5* from TM Custom shop w/Tensei 55S Used for half a season, and then this last year has sat out in Ca as part of my travel set. SOLD 3. GD XC 6S w/Callaway adapter 44.25". $170
