I have struggled with my face alignment for the past few years. To be more consistent, I have been working on having an alignment stick aimed at my target, and a second alignment stick perpendicular to that aim line. Before addressing the ball, I make sure the bottom groove of my clubs/the face is square to that perpendicular line, then address the ball. It has been helping, but I still find myself struggling to get a square face at address. In an effort to help, I have paint filled the bottom two grooves of my clubs, and with my hybrid/3W/DR blacked out the other side lines to emphasize the bottom groove. To take it further, I decided to do a pinstripe line down the top of my hybrid/3W/DR to aid with the alignment. It has been a big help, because I have been noticing through this process that what I attribute as "square" has often been the top line of the club. My woods/hybrid are the Cleveland Launcher XL. I started with the hywood and hit it amazing, so added the 3W and Driver this off-season. The pin stripe I added is square to the top aim decal and goes straight back. The problem I've run into is with the driver, when I added the pin stripe and take my address position, the club looks way too open, and I block the ball. Here's my shi**** MS Paint rendition of what I'm talking about: Does anyone have a similar experience to this? Appreciate any feedback.

Hey all - recently just jumped into the rabbit hole that is arm lock putters and have a few questions. 1) On the extended grip, how are you all ensuring that you set up the same way each time? Between forearm contact position, forward press amount, hand position - there are lot of variables that can change from setup to setup. Is there any one thing that you key on to keep you consistent? 2) Spent about 2 hours on the green today trying to get a feel for it. Wrist started to not feel great towards the end. Attached picture shows how I'm holding the flat stick, does this look correct?

Hybrid or Long Iron….I currently have the Titleist 712u 3-Iron in play, but im thinking about putting a hybrid in play. I feel that a hybrid will be easier off tee and even easier for catching up on par 5 or even long par 4s. Only thing I am worried about is, it will be harder to keep a hybrid low (stinger type shot) to keep under trees and strong wind. What yall think? Any Hybrids out there that can help me with this, ie low trajectory i guess.

Hello. Browsing through Kickstarter I saw this project: http://kck.st/3wVYxyL I like the idea but I have never contributed to a Kickstarter campaign. Has anyone backed on kickstarter, is it safe?

Not 100% sure if this is ok to post here. If not, could someone point me in the right direction in where to post.

I played an Ok round yesterday (score-wise) but wasn’t happy with my ball striking. After the round I went to the range and tried to sort things out. Started off with hitting a few hosel rockets and was getting a little frustrated. Then I got into a groove and was striking it consistently, and went up and down the bag several times; I couldn’t seem to find a valid stopping point so I just kept going. I eventually called it quits after a blister on my left hand emerged. Must’ve hit 200+ balls... It was a great feeling to get in such a groove. I haven’t had a good practice session like that in a while so I wanted to bottle that feeling up and commit it to muscle memory. I don’t think this is a proper to end a practice session that is going well. Any suggestions on how?

So I went and got fitted for a driver yesterday. It’s been a long time since I have played so to me my swing felt very rusty and quite stiff and slow overall honestly. After trying a bunch of different drivers and shafts I ended up ordering the Sim2 with the HZRDUS Smoke green 70 shaft. I’ve been away from golf for a long time and I am far from a tech guru when it comes to clubs I am just wondering if I made the correct choice with this shaft. To me it felt good, but it was towards the end of my fitting and after not playing for so long my hands were already hurting, not sure if was affecting the quality of swings I was putting on the ball. Anyway, my swing speed was around 123-125, ball speed 180-185. I think once I start playing more and condition my muscles for the swing these numbers will only go up. I also put the same shaft in the 3 wood I ordered yesterday as well. I’m not too concerned with distance but would like a consistent accurate shaft for my swing. Thoughts on if I made the right choice? Thanks!

Hey guys. Cleaning out the closet and I’ve got 4 pair of FJ Performance slacks. These are classic fit so they’re roomy in the leg. All are new with tags, with the exception of the navy which are also new, just no tags. Stone, black, charcoal, and navy; all 36x30. These retail around $80, I’ll sell them for $45 each, take all 4 for $150. PayPal only shipped CONUS.

I recently had to change out a tip adapter in my Fujikura six xlr8 driver shaft and discovered a strange material that was in the tip end of the shaft. Can someone please help identify what type of plug (tungsten, lead, liquid tungsten, etc.) I found? I have attached a few pictures. The metal is in a few pieces because I had to cut the tip which ended up cutting this material that was at the end of my tip as well. Also, any suggestions on where to purchase something similar to match the swing weight of my old driver shaft that had this material? The new shaft (same model) now feels way to lite without this material in the tip. Thanks for any help you can provide!

Hi Y'all! I'm trying to program a personal launch monitor that will work for swings speed above 120 mph. All the equations that I have found online seem to cap out at about that speed. I was wondering if anyone knew the exact equation that is used to calculate the carry and roll in launch monitors. Anything helps ? Thanks y'all!

Long story short, I recently had the opportunity to reach out to Sunfish and their customer service folks and I want to share my thoughts and give loads of credit where credit is due. In my many years, I honestly have never dealt with a company that is more committed to making sure their customers are well taken care of and happy with their products than Sunfish. They took a genuine interest in helping me, replied promptly to my emails, and just went way above and beyond any normal expectations I could have had. P.S. Their knit head covers are thick and made from 100% wool yarn. I have one of the animal ones and it has held up perfectly through the first season. I have enjoyed it so much that I now have more on the way! If you are considering their products and have never dealt with them before, for what it is worth, I give them four (4) thumbs up! (Two just didn't seem like enough) Kudos to Ya' Sunfish and many thanks!

I have a Scotty Tei3 with about 45 degrees of toe hang and want to develop a consistent stroke with it. Looking to get a matt to develop the stroke but it comes in different degrees of arc. I know the whole slight hang=slight arc and large hang=large arc, but what amount of actual degrees be ideal for a 45 degree hang? 12, 15 18, or 21?

I have been striking out in my search for 11 inch inseam golf shorts and my old Adidas 3 stripe (which I love) and Nike TW practice shorts (which were 12 inch) are nearing the end of the road ..... I've been pretty diligent in my search and hope I just have a blind spot and someone can direct me to something they've used and like. I'm 6'4" 200 lbs. Thanks for any leads.
