  1. Has anyone here replaced their 4/5 wood with a low lofted hybrid (17*)? I have been struggling mightily with my 3 wood and found that I actually would benefit from a 4/5 wood from a distance perspective more. that said, i have never been a great fairway wood player but have a couple hybrids now that work well for me and for my style of golf tend to work better out of the rough, etc.... Looking for everyone's feedback on this as I will likely be replacing my 3 wood with a 17* hybrid in the near future. Specifically I am looking at the Titleist TS2 once its release as i have 2 of the 816 H1'
  2. I was in for a putter fitting last week. Afterwards I told the fitter I was in the market for a new 3 wood. He had time and I was fit for a TS3. He went through and adjusted the loft and weights and got them in a good setup for me. I kind of bounce back and forth between a 5 wood and hybrid. If I wanted to upgrade my 5 wood would I go with the same head and specs and just appropriate loft to fit my bag or would I need to get fit for that as well?
  3. I've got the G400 LST driver with a Kuro Kage XD TX. I love the shaft and thought I'd love it in my 3-wood. Turns out, I don't. It's a fairly stout low-launching, lower spinning shaft. It's just too much for me, I guess, to get any kind of consistent performance out of it. The G400 fairways are supposed to be extremely easy to hit but with this shaft, it's not. It's a liability right now and I'm looking for something to replace it. Who's got a G400 fairway and what shaft are you using? Preferably something that won't break the bank but I'll likely be selling my XD soon, so I'll have a little t
  4. After countless of fairway wood fittings it finally boiled down to a 15 degree Callaway Epic Flash with a stiff evenflow white shaft, and a 17.5 degree Ping G410 with a stiff tensei orange shaft. The G410 carries the ball almost 10 yards further than the epic flash, however with mishits taken into account the dispersion is significantly wider with falls in carry distance and balls straying away from the line. The epic flash does not carry it as far, but it has a tighter dispersion even with mishits. considering I'm a 14 handicap and i'm currently fine tuning my swing to eliminate those w

  8. Hey All, I'm looking to sell my 2017 M2 3-Wood with a Tour AD BB-7s shaft. This has been in my bag for 2 years and has some wear but plenty of life left and has been properly taken care of. I have also re-gripped it with a Golf Pride mutli-compound mid-size grip with align. I am looking for $165 shipped for this 3 wood and shaft, I will NOT separate as I want to sell it together. 11. Recently, it seems like 3 woods have been drifting more toward driver replacements. For some people that are super long with their driver or just hit 3 wood better off a tee, these are probably great changes. I noticed when I was testing 3 woods I wanted the opposite. I wanted my driver to be a low spin monster and have my three wood be able to go after greens from the fairway with some height/spin for stopping power. For that reason I preferred a lower profile and not a super low launch shaft. Wanted to see what the thoughts were around this trend and how you guys go about picking a

  13. Hi everyone, I currently own a TS2 15* with an Even Flow White XStiff at the stock length of 43 inches and am looking to switch to a 16.5* instead. My club has one on sale but with a different shaft so I would need to swap the heads. the 16.5* comes half an inch shorter and I need to determine how it should be trimmed to ensure my shaft performs as it should. Factoring in a potential difference in stock headweight muddies the waters even more. At the end of the day, I want my Even Flow to be the same as an Even Flow that would come on a 16.5* from Titleist - just need to figure out how to get
