  1. I recently got a set of each m5 and m6 irons, both from an authorized retailer. The serial numbers on the m5 set are etched in, you can feel it. the serial numbers on the m6 set are smooth, not etched in. I can't find anything helpful googling it as I've read that they're suppose to be etched in(can feel it), then I read that it's supposed to be smooth? Also did they start putting serial numbers on all the irons(excluding wedges) in newer sets? Appreciate any thoughts on what's legit and what isn't
  2. Has anyone seen any major improvements between the 2017 Taylormade M2 and the M5/M6? I am currently gaming the '17 M2 with the factory stiff shaft and trying to decide if I should spend the money on the new driver head or invest in a better shaft. I am leaning towards the M5 as the reviews seem slightly better than the M6. The M5's have the option of coming with the Tensei CK Orange 60 Stiff - I feel like this shaft alone is an update over the Fujikura Pro 56 that I currently have. Is the Tensei and M5 combo a good one? Or would getting an aftermarket shaft for the M2 put it in the same ballpark as the
  3. M5 Tour 10.5* Head and Head Cover New and still in the plastic. $250 shipped US only. Thanks
  4. Hey everyone, first post, I don't have any techy golf friends to ask these types of questions to and would very much appreciate some sage advice. 30 years old. Handicap 6-10. Swing speed 101-104mph. The swing speed will hopefully be going up as I just got back into the game these past 3 months after a 12 year lay off after junior golf and have a winter fitness plan in place. **I was fitted by a Taylormade rep (who also fits Korn Ferry Tour players) for M5 Tour 9.0 with Hzrdus Smoke 6.0.** I tend to hit the ball center high on the club face. When I hit these good they carried 255 and ended 280. (1900 - 2200 spin) **Should I buy the standard Taylormade M5 version instead? ** I don't see the reason to buy the Tour if everyone on tour plays the larger M5. Part of the reason he put me in the Tour was I'm currently gaming a R7 Superquad TP and am used to a deeper face. I do prefer the look of the Tour but am not the most accurate driver in the world. We did not carefully analyze dispersion between the two, it was more like... you hit some absolute bombs with this one and prefer the look. **Will I adjust to the look of the larger clubhead? Could it be harder for me to center and square that's why the Tour is better?** Thanks in advance, I'm going to make a purchase soon but I still have doubts of what to go with even after a fitting. I feel like I should get the standard rather than getting the smaller head one that nobody uses.
  5. I own a Cobra F9 driver at the moment. I play it at 8.5* with a Hzrdus Yellow 6.0 shaft. Before that i played a Callaway Epic SZ, and i must say the Epic was a longer and better driver than the F9. Not going back to Epic SZ (newer is better), so wondered what experience people have with the M5 (better still if you have hit the F9)? Is it a bomber? My spin number with the F9 is way to high - about 3500 rpm.

  7. I am currently gaming the Taylormade M2 2016 10.5 loft in a Hzrdus Black shaft 6.0. Was looking online and heard lots of how the M2 was very low launch and that it would be similar to going to a 9.0-9.5 loft in the M5 and SIM. Was wondering if anyone has any opinions on this idea.
