The commercials are captivating. Callaway claims they are the number irons on tour and Taylormade claims the Sim driver is the number one driver played on tour. This may be true, but Ping and Titleist staffers have dominated the tour to date and it seems the dominance will continue. If they sweep the majors it would be fascinating. The question is, does Ping and Titleist have the best engineers in golf?

Bought used TS3 and didn't realize the weight was aftermarket. Was able to remove the weight when I bought it but it started rattling after several rounds so I tried removing the weight to check it out but it's stuck. Titleist won't touch it because it's an aftermarket weight. Anyone else had this issue? If so, how did you remove the stuck weight.

I removed the standard TS3 driver weight (~10g) and added 10 strips of 1/2"x2" 5mil lead tape (~10g) centered right behind the face. This is basically taking 5% of the mass and moving it forward about 75mm. So I think that means cg is moving forward about 3.75mm (5% of 75mm). Im just experimenting trying to bring spin down a little more. Rough guess based on my golf spy 2019 driver cg and moi https://Not allowed because of spam.com/2019-driver-center-of-gravity-and-moi-report/ I think this will pretty much change the cg similar to the cobra F9 with weight in forward position. I also shortened the driver length to 44.5 (-1") because I was sick of choking up. Realistically I can add another 10g of tape to get the SW back up but I don't want to do that before I try this current setup. If I end up putting another 10g of lead tape right behind the face I would imagine that would really change things. I guess I'm just wondering peoples opinion, if anyone has ever done anything similar, or wondered about this.

Only one item up today, brand new Titliest TS3 8.5° Driver with an evenflow white 65g 6.0 stiff. Brand new was got late last year and never used. Looking for $350 shipped May be interested in naked putter blades, Byron, lajosi, piretti, etc

Does anyone know if the TS3 Weights will fit in the 917 D2 driver. Have a good deal on OEM weights from Amazon. Of course Titleist says no but I've seen 1-2 posts saying they do. Thanks in advance.
