Thank you GolfWRX and Nike for doing this forum. With all the customization of drivers and fairway woods/hybrids today and Nike's success with its Nike ID shoe line would there be a future offering for color customization of woods/hybrids? I know many manufacturers have had specific color schemes that the consumer see the pros playing and immediately know which manufacturers driver it is, but Nike has branded itself with the swoosh which is the most recognized logo in the sports world. Many people want total customization and color schemes (bags, headcover, grips, etc) why not give the consumer one more piece of customization. After all color is not trademarked. A limited edition "Masters" driver that is green with a yellow swoosh, or the big College Ohio State fan with the Gray head and a red swoosh, the CEO who wants to give his clients a driver with company colors and maybe an etched logo on the face, the possibilities are endless. Some smaller companies have stickers to customize the top of the drivers. One other major manufacturer has just released a line of drivers enabling the consumer to do this but options are limited. Using Nike ID could give TOTAL color customization for a one of a kind driver/FW/hybrid. Thank you for your time and hope we can learn a lot from you regarding Nike Golf and the technology that lies ahead!!

I recently took the what golf ball quiz on your website to see which of the new RZN balls was best for my game. It said that the RZN Platinum was my ball of choice. I was just wondering what has been done to improve this model over last years 20XI balls, and what are any specific improvements in the ball that set it past its competitors in the market (Titleist, Bridgestone, Taylormade, etc).

Thanks,

Casey

The last nike driver I played was the Nike Ignite and was remotely satisfied. I hit the sasquatch and VRS but never felt comfortable with them. Following hitting my Ignite I switched to the Titleist 910 and 913 model drivers and experienced a big improvement. However, I have been intrigued by the new Covert 2.0 driver by both its look and reviews it has gained.

I was just wondering what specific improvements have been made with this club over past Nike models and what are some direct ways the Covert outperforms its competition (Taylormade and TItleist) and what are some reasons I should choose the Covert as my next driver.

Thanks

Taylormade has been portraying themselves as having the best driver on tour and the motto loft up. What sets the Covert apart from the new Taylormade SLDR?

Also is Nike going along with the common trend on tour to loft up the driver, or should one still purchase a similar lofted club as they have with previous drivers?

Thanks

The Nike TW 13 and TW 14 shoes have been a great success and are one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I love what Nike is doing with the Nike ID customization options for these shoes. Do you have any other plans to expand this Nike Free technology into other shoes other than the TW line and also include these on Nike ID?

Are there plans for a new Nike blade in the works.
How many Nike staffers are using KBS shafts in their irons
Have any tour pros put the new Nike Forged combo irons in their bag yet.
Which new Nike ball is the most popular on tour.
What makes the Nike Covert 2.0 tour driver and Tour fairway wood better than last years model
Thanks

echoing the sentiment from other posts, I would 100% the rory 006 headshape putter, game the scotty head and have always been interested in the method tech. on to questions...

1. I've heard a lot of people say that the sw on the 2.0 driver is really heavy (which I like) and there's some sort of counter weight in the handle, if that's true, could you explain why that is?

2. how often do tour pros explore new shafts? Do they usually stick with their favorite shaft through new product releases or are they pretty open to trying new things?

3. new blades in october?

Have you seen that over 300 WRX'ers have asked for the proto Tai? Any chance we can get a special run just for your favorite golfing community?

Are there any plans on bringing out a 54 degree wedge in the Toe Sweep or Dual Sole series wedges? There are a lot of players that use a 54/58 combo and like their wedges to be the same brand, so I think you are missing a lot of business here. Count me in the group that really likes the look and technology of these wedges but I won't buy them because I play 54/58 and want them to both he from the same brand.

Launch monitor numbers being roughly equal (and these days, it seems like there are a bunch of models that perform well), I will always choose the driver that sounds and feels the best. And while I've had plenty of drivers that gave me great numbers, the ones that really stand out and are remembered are those that had that great sound and feel (the old R510 DF had the best "oh my god I killed that one" feeling ever). In other words, it seems to me that with there being so many high quality products on the market, aesthetics, sound, and feel are of premium importance.

With that said, in addition to significant changes to the headshape of the Covert Tour (from the 1.0 to the 2.0), how much thought/work also went into improving the sound and feel? And can you describe that process? I've played the 1.0 for the last year, and just bought a 2.0. The 1.0 has a relatively "hard" feel off the face, is very harsh on mishits, and is pretty muted when hit on the screws. The 2.0 has a much "livelier" sound, and has a softer, springier feel when hit solid. And mishits aren't so jarring.

I am sure your tour pros have a big (if not the most) influence on your club designs or changes. What specific requests by your touring pros were incorporated into the 2.0 line compared to the original covert line?

Thank you Nike for making great products. Its been great over the past years watching the evolution of golf technology.

1. Have you considered adding a golf department to your nike stores if you haven't already done so? That way people who want only want to be fit for nike clubs can do so without being pushed to another brand by sales reps at golf galaxy, golfsmith, etc. This could help ensure proper fitting for a nike club by having an actual nike golf rep available as a fitter. Some fitters do not know all that they should about nike clubs so this would help secure potential nike club users by offering a unique fitting experience unlike the other brands.
2. What are Nike's engineers doing in order to make clubs for players who do not want excessively strong lofted irons, but still want the low trajectory short irons and high trajectory long irons?
3. Would you consider implementing a program where you get an extra-trade-in-credit when you trade in a previous model toward the most current model.
Thank you for your time.

Thanks for giving the forum an opportunity to ask questions about your new lines.

Here's my question:

How significant is the cavity design in the Covert 2.0 series drivers at minimizing ball speed loss on off center hits vs. say, the same 460cc head without the cavity (traditional design)?

What did your r&d/testing show?

Thanks very much.

Thank you to Golfwrx and Nike for doing this!
3 easy questions
1. Will the tour only putter covers ever be released to the public?
2. I really like the look and feel of the TW Golf Shoes (Free), but find them a bit too narrow. Will there be wider versions?
3. I have the Nike Covert Performance driver that I absolutely love. Why should I buy the Covert 2.0? Will there be any performance gains?

THANKS!!

What is the sole ability difference in the soles on the new covert forged irons compared to the vrs forged . I know sometimes the soles would limit a few shots of certain grass ( really tight Grass & fairway bunkers). I'm in the market for new irons and would love to here what you have to say about this .

Any plans to release a putter with the forgiveness of a drone or drone 2.0 but then in a milled package. I would instantly buy a center shafted milled drone 2.0.
