I don't know if I've ever read a post in over 11 years on this forum that made me feel so happy for someone else - I think this is obviously incredible news and congratulations!  It's been quite a journey since your flight to Irvine!

 

Wishing you all the best and . . . if any lightbulbs in the ceiling need changed or someone needs to reach the top of Cooper's head for some reason you stay off the ladder!!!!

Totally serendipitous. When I started this journey I was just trying to get better at golf. Never knew it would take me this far.

Sometimes that's the best way cause its so natural....

 

When I came out of college in the mid 90s as a business major I just started meditating, and seriously too cause had heart issues etc, and had a change of heart and did not want to enter the rat race anymore and make big bucks and thought why don't I go work part time with special needs adults as I've always been curious about them but had no experience.... now I have my own company lol that provides such high quality services cause we are sincere in our approach and not chase $$ like many do.... serendipitous is an interesting ride lol

There’s an important reason that I’m here in Houston. I’m pleased to say that I’ve joined the team at Hal Sutton Golf Academy!

 

I’m thrilled to be working with Hal Sutton, Chase Cooper, and Will Paulsell, and excited to see what comes from this crazy adventure. I’ve begun the PGA program, and have already passed the requirements to officially become a PGA associate. I’m working to become a Class A professional in the Southern Texas PGA Section.

 

I’m sure I’ll continue this thread in some way, but wanted to share with you guys the great news. This wonderful game has taken me places I’ve never imagined, and I can’t wait to see what else golf has in store for me. Thank you to everyone that has read this thread since the beginning. If anyone wants to tee it up in the greater Houston area, drop me a PM.

Chris has only been here a week and he’s already proven that he’s exactly what we were looking for and needed. We’re excited to have him on board and can’t wait to see what the next 2-3 years looks like.

I've only just come across this thread but firstly wanted to say congratulations on your new job, it sounds great. Secondly, after reading the first few pages of the thread it got me to thinking that some TV Exec needs to commission a show that follows a dude around the country who reviews the best places to eat, sleep and play a round of golf!

Just catching up on this thread after a few months. Congrats Schnee! Will you be joining "the staff" for Monte's clinic in Houston this fall? That would be a treat for the attendees of 'what is possible' when you start with Monte... 🙂. At least a chance to meet the star who cameos in Monte's videos. Good luck on the next chapter of your journey.

Congrats Chris, it's been a fascinating journey to follow. One thing though, when you get your Golf Digest instruction pictorial, please talk about grip pressure in relation to holding a Five Guys burger to complete the circle. 🙂
