Do you guys have any picture of your shield tips with shorts?

 

Ill try and get some next weekend. I need to break in my new navy ones before I head to Scotland and walk numerous rounds in them. I think Toddnt had some pics earlier in the thread too but they may have been taken done over the hole photobucket no longer provides 3rd party hosting.

Came in today and I am blown away. They came out so good. Was a little worried the shark navy was going to be a shade too light but it goes pretty dang perfect with the navy blue FJ athletic trousers and my navy Patrick Gibbons lizard belt

Thanks for the tip! Fortunately it was the right size for me so I bought two pairs. However I'm not sure at all how to match the shoes. Will post some pics when they arrive.

I'm sure this has been asked, but fiancé is getting me my first pair of icon shield my joys for Christmas and I've never tried a pair on. I'm a 10.5 in just about evertythng, except dress shoes where I'm a 10. What do y'all recommend? Thanks.

If you can try some Pro/SL and/or some DryJoys Tour shoes, you will get a very good comparison fit to the Shied Tips. Those two styles of FootJoy shoes are made with the same last and it's very close to the same last as the Shied Tips. Welcome to the club! :-)

I would get a full size smaller than whatever you would get in a Nike tennis shoe.

I don’t understand why the Pro SLs, one of FJ’s most popular models, are not included in the MyJoys program. I think that is a huge oversight on behalf of Footjoy

Awesome thread guys, this is going to get expensive. Quick question (again) on sizing. I tried the 10.5M and the 11.0M in the FootJoys DryJoys Tour (the $189 ones at PGA Superstore). The 11s felt like I had a little too much room (big toe a little ways from the end) and the 10.5s were “snug” (big toe close to the end) but I had a little room in the toe box. Being the Icons are custom, I really don’t want to get this wrong. I currently have the Freestyles in an 11.0M but I feel that’s a totally different shoe. I also have an old pair of DryJoys (don’t know the model) in a 10.5M and they fit about the same as the new DryJoys Tour in the same size.

 

Just curious what others have done if you’ve run into this situation. Thanks in advance.
