"Smoothest" driver/fairway wood shafts you've played

Oban Devotion 5 O3 is the smoothest I've ever played by far. So much so that I'm looking for its nearest (hopefully cheaper) equivalent in fairway wood or hybrid for my two hybrids.

The only reason graphite came out was to maintain stiffness in lighter weights, not because S300 wasnt smooth enough

Look buddy, If I wanted / meant to say "yeah right". I would have said that. I was simply surprised that S300 shaft was the SMOOTHEST SHAFT a person ever played on their driver/fairway wood. Its not very common that a person says that or this is the first. U were the one that was being snide and smartass telling me why I could NOT swallow s300 being smoothest shaft and started to give me a lecture about history of the shaft. U don't have to tell me. I am old enough to know. Than u started to tell me that this tread was not about "what JS-Golf thinks and started to be a SMARTASS and CHILDISH and something about graphite shaft in my irons. By the way, nothing wrong with graphite shaft in irons even though I don't play graphite in my irons.

People can have different opinions and don't have to swallow want others think. That's why we have a forum and discuss opinions and thoughts. What's the point of having a forum/tread like this if you can speak ur own opinion with out being ATTACKED.

You need to start respecting others peoples opinion as is and stop attacking them just because they don't agree with you or Can't Swallow What You think.

I need to start respecting others opinion? Who commented on whos post again? When at anytime did I comment on an other persons post about them liking graphite? You are the one who commented, again very unclearly, about me preferring S300.

We will have to chalk this up to a misunderstanding between us.

But if you say that "If I wanted to say Yeah Right, I would have said it.........." Maybe you have said what you wanted to say in the first place, because, "Huh?S300?Okay? :-0" doesnt translate to "Thats interesting, I have never know someone to prefer S300 over graphite"

Did I say it was the smoothest I've played? Nope. I simply commented on it being smooth after you mentioned that you didn't think so. Just a difference of opinion. I find a lot of the other shafts listed here smooth as well. Just not "smoothest" to me.

I agree. I don't want a shaft to feel smooth, that feels like dead left to me. Probably why the Graf Blue is in my driver.

I have an AD-DI which is probably the smoothest I've ever swung. Didn't like it, but still smooth.

MFS Matrix. Putting one in my 4w as soon as the head gets here. This was their first full Zylon shaft and man is it smooth. Trying my hardest to find another to put in a driver, but looks like it may get a 65p Orange Crush instead.
