no worries mate, i originally had a snarky comment about the price in BST but didn't want to get my hand slapped... but yeah, the one in BST is the twin... I love the green, the headcover matching my bag was a huge bonus

I wish putter makers/manufacturers would put a really good bead on their welds if they're changing out the necks. LaMont is getting pretty darn good at his and I've seen some other makers that are getting much cleaner, but the blobs and globs I've noticed on higher end putters aren't really eye-pleasing...

I hate bad weld jobs especially when welded necks are so much more expensive, you know who's the worst lately has been Scotty, there was a gallery putter posted on IG, I commented how the weld bead wasn't straight and my comment got deleted for that

I agree I hate when somebody has a thousands $$$ tour only etc custom putter and the welds look like trash. Floors me I would not be happy if a $500 putter looked like that let alone $4k!

I guess I have to wonder how hard it is to lay down some dime beads. Custom bicycle frame builders do it all the time on surfaces which resemble the interface between the hosel and head. The globs are not a sign of craftsmanship, they're really a sign of ineptitude which shouldn't exist with a $$$$ + putter...

It’s the only club that you actually get to use on every hole! You get custom fit for driver? Custom fit for irons and pay a lot of money for both. Why in world would you not Pay/Invest a lot and get custom fit for a putter?!?!

I can't believe someone bought that. I've had custom titanium bikes built for less than that and the welds on even the smallest areas were one million times better than that junk...

Putters are kind of like baseball cards I guess - people buy a baseball card for tens of thousands (if not hundreds of thousands or even a million dollars) and a card in pretty much all instances isn't worth the material it is printed on in the real world.

 

At least with a putter you can play with it.

Taylormade Truss TB2 centershaft. This thing is not the most conventional looking putter with the truss arch, but man does it feel and sound good to me. It works perfect for my SBST putting, and the TM stock grip feels perfect in my hand as well. It is the Lamkin Sink Fit Skinny. A lot of folks are going to hate the look of the Truss, but this thing seems to work well in my hands.

2018 scotty cam newport 2... never really cared for scottys but this one felt and looked good. Rolled true distance it felt like. Couldnt control distance on the spider x so you know that had to go.
