The Sik insert is a great performer but not very durable though, even for an aluminum one. Dings come way too easy for my liking. The Nova was still in the wrapper when I found out after taking it off it has 2 noticeable dings in the center. No doubt the face it another putter by bad customer manhandling the 2 weeks it's been on display. I have a Scotty Special Select that I'm much more confident in it's face durability than this Sik insert. Should have been steel or titanium IMO. Still works great and I'll be keeping the Sport-45 at least.

 

Nothing wrong with the Nova, I just don't really need a SBST putter these days (even though I keep telling myself I do).

 

I picked up a Nova over the weekend. After one putting session the face has several scratches and dings. I’m very disappointed and can’t imagine what the face would look like after a full season.

Walked into my local shop yesterday thinking that a Newport 2.5 would find its way into my bag.  Was putting really well with it and I set it down to try out a couple other putters.  I stopped at the Mizuno rack and was putting with the M-Craft I model and was thoroughly enjoying it and liked the feel a little bit better than the Scotty.  I finally picked up this one and quickly realized that the M-Craft IV suit me and my stroke a bit better.  I could tell that the I style would have been a bit more of a hot-cold relationship depending on how my stroke would be on a given day.  

 

I absolutely love the look of this putter and how simple it is, plus I enjoy the headcover as well.  Can't wait to get this out in a couple days when we are supposed to have some drier weather.

Just unbelievable. Can you post putter address and headcover pics too? Not that it matters, but what if they would have milled the wave so the “over roll” portion lined up with the site line and the milling was slightly edged to promote forward roll as a an actual game/roll improvement feature? 🤯 Let me know when you want to sell this beauty…haha.

Yeah, I’ve rolled almost all of the big name milled putters and some of the boutique putters in the last couple of years and I keep coming back to the NC putters. They just seem to work for me. Getting them at less than $100 is an added bonus.

For forged and milled at that price they honestly cannot be beat. Some of the graphics are butt ugly but some are just plain and quite nice. I have one but going to sell it cause I'm moving away from plumbers necks and it's too light to convert to another neck for me.
