Super solid putter. If I didnt have the OG 7S id probably be trying to find the slant neck version of that thing!

They actually have the slant neck version still available on dicks and golf galaxy. Golf galaxy has a better return policy though. Yeah so far im enjoying it. The funny thing is... its somewhat like the 7 versions except connected at the back. It does give a bigger overall appearance though which im not a fan of big putters but it plays great and doesnt over hit if you know what i mean.

That’s awesome if the wife wouldn’t kill me over getting another putter I’d be all over getting one. But I’ll have to hold off and hopefully dicks/GG still has them in stock

Picked up a Odyssey Back Series Tour Design 1W 34” with a new P2 React grip on kijiji for $100CAD.  Got this to try out the grip.  Seems very heavy, steadies hands and decreases swingweight. Putter is in great shape. Might be a backup

Wondering how many times I’ve posted in this ever lengthening thread.

this time it’s a Mizuno M-craft V.  Have the lightest weights in and put a heavier P2 grip on it.   Putted well with it yesterday.

I was lucky enough to be selected for one of the 25 Small Batch Santa Monica’s that Toulon just released. I can’t wait for this thing to show up. Tri sole with a site dot is my dream putter. 9617D6E3-00E2-452F-B110-DC61F92F00C6.jpeg.4def6f4e9acd214bc5b97c6fc9d8d94b.jpeg45DB2B7E-122F-4B61-9E80-0550792579C0.jpeg.a02af8e11561bea4c72c38c28318c815.jpeg1DF9FB46-15FC-4EC3-840D-9B2AFD781EB0.jpeg.a5484b2d0b6256a34e8a74da6ca28620.jpeg

Wow, absolutely gorgeous! Looks like a lighter/smoother mill than they usually do?

What is the different between it and a San Diego though?

Man wish I would have been selected. Hopefully the Santa Monica will be part of the new line released later this year.

That's some serious heat. The ones you just received back look great! What fools gold (chromatic bronze)  finish did you do on them (2x, misted, satin etc.)?

I’m honestly not even sure. I picked a couple when I sent the form in but they called and made other suggestions. I told them to go with what they thought best. I’ll try to find my final form they sent and see what it says.

Thanks I'm thinking of sending in a putter and would appreciate your input on which finishes you ended up with.

I sold my Mustang Gen 2 because WRX…

so I went to GG and decided to get fit.  Would’ve bought just about anything…

Left with this $150 putter.  I can’t believe how good it is for the money.image.jpg.5c275b16933a9a70fcea9dde70beda4b.jpg

The Cleveland Huntington Beach putters are pretty awesome.  I was looking at buying an EVNROLL a few years ago, walked out with a Huntington Beach #1.  🙂

I bought the Newport special select and it’s okay, I think I’m scottied out though. Then bought the edel 1.0 with the weight kit and literally changed my putting.

How does the Edel feel? I have one of the old ones and they feel meh on strikes, these new ones look more solid. But no LH sadly.

I’m sorry to hear that they don’t make a lefty, I hope one day the industry starts to realize that there’s left handed golfers too. I bought the Cameron special select Newport 1 special order at 36” with an oversized matador and an edel eas 1.0 at 40” with around grip. To me, and I know that feel is subjective, the edel feels amazing. It’s a solid face but has much of an insert hot feel than the Newport 1. The Newport 1 is going to let you know immediately when you mishit it, where the edel is a lot more forgiving. I bought the weight kit with the eas and have yet to play with it that much, but am absolutely loving it with the 5 gram weight. I’d say as far as feel, and this is just to me the eas, the Scotty Cameron Newport insert model feels damn good, and the special select. The special select gives nothing on a bad day of putting. But this is my first non Scotty outside of 20 years of playing and after feeling this putter, I’m over the moon and will definitely be looking at some wedges in a 54 and 60 next. But again, feel is subjective, some people might read this and think an edel feels better than a Newport. Is this guy outta his mind, just my .02 that’s all. Sorry again about no lefty, I just joined this site and have been reading that no lefty is a real pain in the a!! Issue.

It is what it is, such a small segment of the golf world and even smaller buying custom putters. I like my Edel, I aim it so well but just not a fan of the feel, but I'm going to change the weight a bit and see what happens. I saw these new EAS and was excited but David had no intention of bringing out LH ones, maybe new model and just cost was too much.

But it's good to hear you found a putter you're enjoying and excited about using as well, hope it works out well for you and if you get a chance to do a fitting it's quite unique.
