I don’t know what the putter would feel like with a steel shaft in terms of ball contact, but the thing I notice most is the way it’s weighted. The putter feels more head-heavy than other similar putters I have, which I kind of like. I only really notice the difference when I hold it by the head and swing the grip around. I guess it’s a lighter overall putter, but it swings similar to normal putters with the lower balance point. 
 

I’ve been toying with the idea of pulling the shaft and putting it in my Bettinardi to see what happens, but haven’t convinced myself yet.

I'm currently playing an old Never Compromise with basically the exact head design, but I'm not crazy about the feel with some of today's firmer high compression balls.  The soft face of the HB does offset this, just wondering if the shaft upgrade is worth it.

I don’t have one with a steel shaft to compare it to, but the putter feels pretty good with this shaft. I would imagine it dampens some of the vibrations from contact, which would make it feel softer, but by how much, I’m not sure. I think for $50 more when buying these Cleveland putters, the shaft is worth it. Like I said in the reply above, the biggest difference I notice to a steel shaft is the weighting.

I picked up a Tri Hot 5K Seven CH.  Super stable, and I really enjoy the feeling of the forward CG.

Picked this up for next to nothing and loving it so far. Feels as good as anything I’ve ever rolled and is in mint condition.

The CH hosel fits very well with my stroke.  Honestly went to the store to tinker with LAB (DF and Mezz).  But kept knocking in putts with the Tri Hot.  I gamed the OG WH 7 CH a bit last year.  This feels more responsive.  I might be drinking the Kool Aid, but the forward CG is a big improvement in the Mallets this year.  I tried the 5K Double Wide a few times last year and didn’t like it.    The stock grip doesn’t stink either.  I usually game a Superstroke Pistol GT Tour, but have gamed Scotty Matador’s in the past.  I’ll give this an honest effort before I regrip.

Agree on all accounts. It’s just sinks putts and puts such a good roll on the ball even on Mishits. I actually like the stock grip

I picked up a mint condition 4 as well this off season.  I’ve got a 3 and 6 that are regulars in the rotation.  Such a great series of putters.

Picked up a new White Hot OG 7, 35' Stroke Lab over the weekend.  Played around a little with it on the basement carpet.  #1 at our course is a fairly long Par 5.  On in 3 with about a 10 to 12 footer for birdie.  First putt  on the course with the OG 7 and rolled in into the center of the hole.  Continued making quite a few putts over the round.  

Had lost all confidence in my short putts.  Hope it's not just the honeymoon stage, but regained a ton of that lost confidence.

Just picked this up yesterday. Really impressed with Evnroll's new line of putters. Know shapes are very similar to other manufacturers the ability to select the neck you want, weighting and milled face are really, really nice.

Agreed. Really hoping other companies follow suit with the ability to customize the necks. Doubt it though, because that would hurt the Scotty CT market, Toulon Garage, etc.

Picked up a Studio Stainless Mid-Sur today. I was seeking this out because of the 375g head weight and longer neck. It’s currently cut down to 34.5” but I think I’m gonna have it cut down a little more.

Awesome! What grip are you using on it? The feel off the face of mine has a very harsh feel and I’m wondering if it’s the grip (pp60) almost makes the putter sound hollow

 Interesting.. For me it almost feels like its a face plate because its so soft. 

 

I use Iomic I-Classic Midsize Pistol on a majority of my putters. Love the soft rubber Iomic makes for everything.

Picked up a couple of putters recently to add to my collection of heel shafted blades. The Cleveland has really been a pleasant surprise. Amazing feel to this putter and one of the cheapest clubs I've ever bought. The Wilson was the result of a trade and likewise has a great feel, but is noticeably lighter of the two. Cleveland on the top and left in the last two photos.

Really excited about this one… I’ve been looking for the right mallet with a plumbers neck for a while. Hoping this is it
