Here is the grip installed along with a CT Tour shaft put on my Las Vegas. Feels and looks great. Just picked it up today.

The Garsen model you have is the Quad Tour tapered. The Quad Tour in both tapered (72 grams) and non-tapered (55 grams) versions I believe is a model Garsen designed to appeal to players who don't like the severe shape of the Garsen MAX and, or, Edge grips. Unlike the MAX and Edge models, the Quad Tour allows a player to use his/her customary grip technique.

I attended the 2019 US Open and Grillo, Els, Ancer, Gribble, Stenson, and Finau were some the players using a Garsen grip.

I recently picked up a Garsen Ultimate grip to try on my spider mini as it supposably popular with claw grip players. It weighs 27 grams lighter than the SS pistol GTR 1.0 that came with it. Now to wait for the grip solvent to dry.

I have the Ultimate on my TP Mills and it's awesome, it's similar to the SuperStroke Tour 3.0 but honestly has a better feel and quality. I'm having another putter built and will be using this grip from here on out on putters I keep in rotation. The downfall is the price a bit and me getting them in Canada, I bought all of the stock they had at a local golf shop.

The Max is round with a very prominent spine/ridge. Nice shape if you like putting elbows in and palms up.

The Quad is an isosceles trapezium, great for traditional grip as it really sits in the hands. Offered in taper and non-taper.

Ultimate is round with a flat front, great for various grips especially claw but not a claw specific grip.

Maybe ask and see if they can start carrying them. They are building a strong tour presence which could make it more appealing.

After trying it out on my putting mat I really like the Ultimate for how I grip the putter, which is a claw variation. I have actually been messing around with my right hand claw, with a smaller pistol style grip it always felt a bit weird using the claw with my ring and pinky finger having little to no contact with the grip. So I have been messing around with dropping those two fingers behind the grip. Not exactly a pencil grip but a combination of the two I guess??? More of chopsticks style grip imo, if that's a thing. Both variations of the claw that I have been using feel comfortable with this grip. So far I love the rounded overall feel with the flat front and the longer length of the grip.

Is the Ultimate the ultimate putting grip? I'm not 100% sure on that as I did putt really good last season with my spider mini with the SuperStroke, and their are things I like about both grips. The biggest test will be getting it out on the course and seeing how I putt on real greens.

Has anyone ever tried the Max or Edge backward? The pointed edge on the bottom or backside of the putter. It seems to fit my hands better that way (I putt LHL). It really feels nice that way- I couldn’t get use to it the standard way- especially where to place my hands cross handed.

Just seeing this thread for the first time. I’ve got the blue Ultimate on my Donny putter. I really like the feel and size. It is a very tacky/sticky grip though. So if that bugs you, then beware.

Just a note only the blue is tacky, the black and red don't have that feel to it. But I kinda like that tacky feel and the little G's.

I just installed the Max with the logo up which is rotated clockwise about 45 degrees from standard installation.

I think this orientation is perfect. The round portion fits my top hand perfectly, and the edge creates a flat side which fills my right hand palm. The combination locks my hands and wrists in place and feels awesome.

I think I like these grips quite a bit, I have the Ultimate on 4 of my putters and I think the Quad Pistol is going to get a try on another putter. I do want to give the Max or Max Tour a try again since changing my grip style back to a more traditional-ish style. I just wish these were a hair heavier like 60-65g and they would be perfect the 55g weight is on the lower side.

Uh kinda similar kinda different. Looking at address it's thinner left to right but a bit wider top to bottom to get the pistol shape.

Drop an email to Garsen.  I asked them which I should try if I am using the Rosemark 1.38 and they recommended the Quad Tour Pistol.

Really quick to reply as well.

Texture and material used, the Tour ones with that smoother material is tacky and what I call a leather/rubber combo in feel almost but really nice.

It's just another option as everything else is the same, only a few grips there are differences from regular to "tour" material. If you're on IG shoot them a message very responsive.

Are you claw gripping? I found the Ultimate was the best for that from the Garsen line. Also works well for a traditional grip too.

Actually I may have an extra Ultimate I can swap for that Max you pulled.

Nope just traditional grip, big SS pistol fan.

Claw still has the pistol and fits my hands a little better, Kinda like a flat cat with a pistol up top.

Ultimate is similar to the Max, just a flat top instead of the ridge?

I just couldnt get with the locking back of my elbows, maybe I should check out the Quad Tour Pistol?

The Ultimate is more like a SS Tour in shape just a better feel to me. The Max does have a position you definitely have to get used to or be comfortable with.

If you're looking for a pistol shape the Quad Tour Pistol could be a good option to try, it doesn't have that sharp spine that a lot of pistol shapes have but their parallelogram shape fits really nice in the hands at least for me. The regular Quad Tour is a bit stubbier/stout in shape and the Pistol is a bit longer front to back.

Oh definitely, grips are not cheap, if the SS Claw works then it works and stick with it. Most of my grips now are the Ultimate but I am looking for some change on a few putters.
