She's playing in Dubai this week and that's only 7,100 miles. There's a flight that leaves Reagan in a couple of hours, $1,600. She made the cut already...take your clubs and get in a couple of rounds!

I met Cheyenne last year at the Founder's Cup in Phoenix. She and I chatted for a few minutes after her second round. She was very nice and gracious, even after missing the cut by one due to a double on the 17th. I mentioned this in another post where she made a rooking mistake IMO where she didn't study her drop area enough while taking relief from the cart path and she ended up on a little hill and proceeded to hit what looked like a shank (maybe severe block) into the lake, and ended up doubling the hole. I thought she should have punched it up near the green and taken bogey at worse and likely make the cut. However, she is a pro and knows what she can do and knows her game better than anyone else, so who am I to question her. I did feel like she had a rookie caddie (friend?) that didn't help her with her drop or the subsequent shot. A good experienced caddie is a real asset out there. She will only get better, I expect to see a lot of Cheyenne Woods over the years.

A good caddie on any tour is important. On the LPGA it's paramount. They do a bunch more for their pros than what the PGA guys do.

I've seen a couple of people on her bag during the past year. I'm not sure if she has a set caddie (I'm guessing yes and like you said, it was maybe a temporary replacement at that tournament). Really looking forward what she does on the LPGA!
