Just came out of a second lockdown here in the UK, so I took the time to sort the short game side of the bag out.

Lovely set of SM8's

New back up putter Ping Vault 2.0 Dale

Sent both putters away for some love and care, but mainly to put some Stability Tour shafts in each with the new golf pride pro only cord grips
That is me set for the rest of this year and start of next year at least now!

I gotta ask these stability shafts have been intriguing me for a while.  I see they have the regular version on sale for $129 which is a right price point for me, they are keeping the more aesthetically pleasing TOUR version at $249.  Are these shafts really worth the price?

I will be able to tell you after a few rounds, but just putting at home they feel great, best way I can describe it is they just feel more stable! More efficient as such? Hard to put words to it, but I will get a couple of rounds under my belt and let you know

Kinda weird the steel shaft section at the bottom is so short on both of them.

Both the Betti and Ping had weird tip sizes, which the Stability didn't come with, so the pro used my existing shaft and cut to length, playing length on both is 34 inches. I guess with the tip that comes with the stability it would be about the same roughly, but where it is black it probably looks different perhaps?

All of the stability’s I have two with their extension and one that used the existing shaft installed by breakthrough had about twice as much steel shaft as yours.  Just caught my eye is all.

Callaway Mavrik sub zero driver with Diamana ZF 60.  Amazing combo and the ZF shafts are unreal.  Tried this combo against my buddies new TSI3 driver with Graphite Design on the simulator and we both hit the Mavrik SZ with better results and numbers on average. My buddy is now a bit triggered by this 😂

It took a while for me to get used to the Jones strap system (I have the same bag & color) but now it's second nature.

Did you flip the straps?  I’ve heard that’s the fix

Took advantage of CallawayPreOwned’s Black Friday mailer and got Apex Pro 19’s, 4 iron through A wedge with Aerotech Steelfiber 95’s and a Stroke Lab 10 putter.

Coming from Apex Pro 16’s with Project X I was worried there would be an adjustment with the lighter graphite shaft but I’ve picked up some distance and am hitting the ball higher.  Had Tour Velvet Jumbo installed on the irons and took my 5 clubs that had Tour Velvet Align midsize and had those regripped with the Jumbo.  Early consensus is the irons are a keeper: 4 rounds in the low 70’s.  Putter already out of the bag.
