46 3/4”, tipped 1”

 

Very manageable swing weight at D5/6 at this length with the stock weight. Will be able to get it to D3/4 once I can source a 4g weight instead of the 8g one.

Older model pick up from the bay... I only do budget finds (aka cheap).  Pairing with Diamana D+ 72X $40 from global.  Will see if it can either knock out ol' trusty or go double driver!

I broke down and bought this blacked out super stroke GT 1.0, I bought a GTR 1.0 off the BsT back in Dec. (still in transit)  but here we are 1month and some change later. So excited because this colorway will black out my Nike top to bottom.

The Homna's are definitely more forgiving, especially towards the toe which is my typical miss. Srixon feel is more consistent across the face, mostly due to the Honma being a hollow body, although center strikes feel identical. Honma are 2-5 yards longer and virtually no distance loss on my toe misses compared to the Srixons. I'm also pleasantly surprised at the Vizard shafts. I've typically over-powered sub 100 gram graphite in that I'll hit a few big hooks per round and I'm not seeing that with the Vizards.

Winter man. So couple weeks back picked up Vapor Flex Driver for cheap and got me to thinking I never really tried the Vapor Fly irons, would be nice to run across a set. Went up to trade the losers of basement winter putter wedge trials and thought experiments. Shazam! there was a set in very good condition. 4-A with ZT85 S shafts. Oh and a NOS MD4 58/12/X. 4,7 & 9 look like the practice clubs on the Nikes, the rest look like the 5 iron. Come spring yet another trial with speed, forgiveness, etc. (and another wedge) I ain't getting any younger, lol.

If there were any complaints about SS grips it would be they discolor over time. To me, they are fantastic grips with a great feel. I like the black out you got, enjoy!

It’s a Mannkrafted MA66 that’s he was kind enough to center shaft. Slight amount of toe hang.

Thanks, have you tried this driver?  Appreciate any feedback.  I also got lucky that it is indeed Made in Sakata Japan and has a 2 star ARMRQ8 54 R flex shaft which I like.  I just hope it's not too demanding at 9.5*.

I hope that you did not pay arms and legs for this driver.  Even 2 star shaft is phenom.  Please share your feedback.

Well, I was gonna buy some Vokey wedges but these Wilson’s at $25 each should do the job. I’m not good enough to notice the difference of $125/club.

got it for $130 on ebay so i think it's a good deal.....thanks.  i will share feedback after a week or so.
