Had some store credit to burn and I have been looking for a smaller bag... couldn't pass this one up after looking at a few of them in the store.  Not bad size for a Sunday bag really.  Will see how it does on the course.

I finally did it. After trying 3 different Drivers and 3-Woods since selling my trusty Callaway Rogue & 3W, I sucked it up and took the walk of shame to admit my mistake.

 

As soon as I put them in the bag, shot my lowest round! Welcome back Rogues!

Ended my brief reunion with Ping (had gone all in on the G425 line). Had to abandon driver because of horrendous feel and maddening left-bias, and 3-lst because of the small head. Still keeping the 425 7w for now. 

 

But here's the new lineup -- Mizuno STZs. Very stable clubs. Classic looks. Excellent feel. I like the fuller head size on the FW woods because I hit FW off a lot of tees. Still testing shafts -- for now it's RDX in the driver and Motore X F3 in FWs. Put Ventus Blue 6x in the driver but the RDX 6.0 was its equal in distance but was much more controlled. Surprising.

You say not bad for a Sunday bag. What else do you need to put in the bag on the other days of the week? This is the prefect size bag imo. I don’t understand why people carry clubs in monstrosity that is your typical tour bag.

Haha.... I carry 13 clubs... not even as many as tour pros.  There was a little tangle and I didn't love that nor did the single strap suit my needs.  I was hoping to pick up the double straps from Vessel but they are not available till October.  I like the idea of a smaller bag for full time use so I thought I'd give this Sunday bag a try, just personal preference.  On top of that, I carry a 36 oz Hydroflask, and it does not fit in the water bottle pocket.  It does in the Vessel Lite.  

 

The bag is really nice, but I was hoping for the clubs to get a little less tangled.  

 

I did also get a Ping Moonlite recently and loaded it up with my 13.  Much better fit and may suit my needs for the smaller bag I was looking for.  Hope that sheds some light on your confusion.

I had a set of MP 60’s quite a few years ago and gave them to a cousin to try out when I started playing my Pings. He gave up golf and never played them. He moved a couple of times, so you know the story. I wanted to get another set so I found these on EBay with Nippon 950 stiff shafts. They are in excellent shape. I hit a few shots with them this afternoon and they are sweet. Brand new Tour Velvet grips too.

Thanks. The pics on the auction page made them look pretty good but I was really surprised just how good they look in person. Seller shipped them with every head wrapped in bubble wrap and must have used them hardly at all.
