Man I remember when non set wedges were around $100-$120 lol. 
 

Splurged for a custom ZipCore. Tour Raw with satin finish and S grind for better bunker play and more versatility.

Picked up a set of grind works PR202s. Pictures don't do these any justice, they look fantastic in person. I can't wait to get them out this weekend!

Was looking for something less harsh than steel shafted clubs now that the weathers turning colder. Saw a good deal on these and jumped on it. Nice shaped head (better than their higher end Apex Forged imo), and the steel equivalent of that shaft probably my favorite bend profile of all time. The shaft performance and feel certainly didn't disappoint (although maybe slightly heavier would have been a better fit with rest of my set). The head also performs really well however it clearly had the "slipperiness" of cast and not on same level as the apex forged. If I switch again (which I hope as I need to stop doing this!), that would be most likely reason. Definitely a combination others should consider though the player performance category, much better value than forged equivalents than most other alternatives.

Got a set to toy with over the winter at least. Been chipping today in the back yard with them. Went 4-SW, stock Tensei graphite 1/2” short, 2* upright. Lamkin Crossline OS grips. 1st round coming in the morning with them.

So far I have taken it out on the range 2 times and the course 2 times, and it is safe to say it will be staying in my bag. I had a straight comparison with the same shaft in my Sim UDI and the ZX just feels like a more complete club for my swing. Weight distribution, head size is a little larger which allows for more forgiveness overall. I also like to hit my 2 iron out of the fairway on par 5's and this has definitely made it even easier. I think it is extremely accurate when many reviews say it is not the longest. I definitely hit my Sim UDI roughly 7-10 yards longer. But for the accuracy I have gained and the forgiveness, that 7-10 will not make a difference when it is not consistent anyways. I highly suggest at least giving the ZX a try.
