Thanks team. Have the ping dialed down as well but still looks “closed”. Might take a look at the LS model.

Retired old faithful and bought new 56-12D Man this wedge is awesome. Broke 80 today for first time since starting back playing and stuck quite a few shots with this do do it. Love the weight, feel and starting to get the hang of the grind. No more 60*, this one can do it all.

How much extra is the Cushin insert and could you describe what does it do to the feel? How about the impact on the swingweight, assume Ping compensates for it but I wonder will it make the club feel heavy?

Love it! I have been playing with the SM8 version and love this a lot. I play public courses in SoCal and the bunkers have little to no sand, so it's super helpful to have a LW that can sit flat, then still sit flat when you open the face more. Doesn't have to do with just the bounce, but it's the grind on the sole and heel side that prevents the leading edge to lifting up. 

 

IMO, worth ordering one thru a shop and if you don't like it, you can easily sell it here on WRX.

own use set this week. Pretty happy with the outcome.

New 3 iron arrived the other day - think I messed the order up as I ordered 0.5 inch long as I was told my VR Pros are, have it now and it's barely longer than my 4 iron. 

 

Doesn't seem to have affected things too badly though, as it still goes like a rocket and fits the gap between my hybrid and 4 iron perfectly.
