Here are a couple gss old school beauties I have. The first is a welded neck 1.5 that is 351 grams with some very unique stamping for its age. The second is a yellow dot gss newport 2, it’s from the same time frame as tiger’s putter. The neck is set further forward toward the face. 335 grams.

I love CTs, but find it silly that there are more that say ‘tour only’ that aren’t used on tour than there are on tour!  🤪😆

Curious. Are they actually made for tour players to try/use. And the leftovers go to market? Or do they stamp them ‘tour only’ knowing they are going to a regular Joe??

What I think of stamps on a putter 

 

 

Seems like older ones were definitely on tour, newer ones mixed I think most probably on the putting green and if no interest then they get sold.

This is what I have at the moment. Looking at ebay prices, I'm going to dump the black "kip" with the sound slot and the Black studio select and try to find another 009. All of mine are gamers for sure!

Thanks! This year, yes. Won last year with the TNP, hence the 'Victory Putter' treatment, but it freed me up to go out and get the 009!

Anyone have a good place to buy a circle T without paying a 2-3x markup over retail? Unfortunately I live nowhere close to the gallery...

I'll jump.  Back when I first started really collecting putters, I always had my sights set on a Circle T.  After quite a bit of searching, I found this one back in 2014.  A deep milled Studio Select Newport with a charcoal mist finish.  I wanted one that I knew I would keep and wouldn't have to worry about reselling, so I sent it to the custom shop for a few finishing touches, and gamed it for a few years.  I probably won't ever buy another one (guess I should never say never), but I'm still glad I have this one.
