I don't want to put the mickey on him, but Fowler's links game really does impress me. I used to not be a fan of his, i guess i didn't see what everyone else saw in him. Completely changed my tune, especially after how i've seen him play links golf the last few years. I reckon a claret jug will end up in his cabinet one day, and will be rooting for it to be this week (behind any of the aussies of course )

Angel was an example of since the coverage had only been going on for 30mins. Actually Angel has gotten more conservative off the tee since the first hole. And if you are watching you will notice more players taking the "over the bunker" route off the tee.

Rory is as aggressive of a player as anyone in pro golf and even he laid up on that hole. Tiger has played 2 competitive rounds in 4 months. Hard to blame his strategy.

I see what you mean. Especially after the way he drove it at the Quickens. He probably just doesn't have the confidence with his driving right now. That's why I think it will be good to see what Kaymer and Scott do out there since they are probably the best drivers.
