Grip issue, suggestions?

So I have been away from the game for about six years. Use to be a 4-5 hcp, obviously not now.

Anyways, I use to play gloveless in the south all summer long with practically no issues. Used mid size grips (kept them too long too). Now with my new clubs, specifically my driver right now since it's the guinea pig, my left hand (high hand) is wanting to slip off, even with a glove sometimes.

Just put a new decade mid size on hoping it would solve the problem. But it hasn't.

Now before I spend more money on grips for my whole set, any suggestions? Is it just me or does the grip just not work for me? Was thinking of trying the Pure Pro mid size next.

I know my skills are rusty, but my grip? I don't believe I'm doing anything different.

[url="http://www.regalbrands.com/"]The Grip Master[/url] leather. Yeah, they cost a good bit more, but they last forever and your hands WILL NOT SLIP! I can play bare handed in the rain with mine. Be forewarned though, they are sticky. If you can deal with that, you'll never use another grip.

Cheap way to go would be for the tour wrap 2g. They can be a little slick barehanded but just wipe off and it's perfect again. And absolutely will not slip with glove.

I've always used the proper old V50 corded but did have a leather grip master on my putter! That thing was beautiful

What type of grips did you play before? Maybe you had a grip that was tackier than the Golf Pride NDMC? The NDMC is not the tackiest grip out there so maybe that's why you may be slipping? Although I've never tried I hear that some of the Iomic grips are pretty tacky.

Last grip on this driver was a NDMC standard size (purchased from a member here). Had the same issue, thought it was either worn grip or because I had previously been use to a midsize grip.

My last set of clubs had a set of win grips on it. That was like 8 years ago, so don't remember the exact model. Maybe the Xi7? They were ok, disintegrated over time.

If you go with the Pure Pro make sure its the newest model. I purchased some discontinued ones on Ebay and they are pretty slick in the humidity, unplayable when raining. They changed something in the newer models and they are supposed to be all weather now. Especially good when wet. I havent changed mine yet but i think im going to.

iomics 2.3 are great in dry weather. They are terrible in the rain or high humidity. The x evolutions are different story they work great on both. The only grip better in my opinion are the no1 best all around grip ive used hands down and last forever. they are pricey but good deals come up on ebay if you dont mind them in pink
