I was wondering the same! All I can think of is maybe humidity did a number on the paintfill of the woods? Irons seem ok, and the box for the woods does have some stains, maybe moisture got thru? No clue to tell you the truth... but I am in Florida and those attics get crazy hot and humid in the summer. ??‍♂️

Spring cleaning has things picking up at GW. Picked up FG17 3-pw and a Tom Wells Persimmon Driver-Brunswick 7.5 shaft and a Neuman leather grip in excellent condition. Passed on a 2-P set of Acushnet AC 108 irons and a nice set of Maxfli black dot irons that were missing the 7 & PW.

Nice looking driver, but that shaft must feel like rebar! I've got a set of Mac R58 irons with FM6.5 shafts, and they're pretty stout.

1956 or 57 Wilson Triple Duty wedge. This is a beautiful original example and I’m quite impressed that it is actually living up to its billing as useful from the Sand, rough, and fairway lies.

quick stop on the way home paid off.

two Wilson JP wedges, a Staff Fluid Feel three iron and a Belding Bushwhacker bag no one needed.

bag had a bunch of logo balls in the pocket - and the rain cover was included.

one wedge is about an inch short, but an extender will take care of that.

the other doesn't look to have been hit much if at all.

Just found a nice set of 2006 Hogan Apex Edge with Apex steel #3 shafts. 4-E, plus a 58* LW. They are in pretty nice shape with no browning and normal bag chatter. They will be on the BST as soon as my 30 day wait is over from my recent sale. PM me if interested. They're CHEAP!

I’ve owned 3 sets of brand new irons in my life, the Spalding Executives my parents got me when I was 14; a set of Bob Toski Perfect Match irons when I got my first real job; and a set of Ben Hogan Apex Edge irons when I could finally afford a nice set of irons in the bag.

Unfortunately they were already spoken for so I bought a set of 2006 Hogan Apex blades.
