The white grip is an Iomic with TaylorMade logo. I found it on eBay awhile back. Wish I could find some more!!

Hi Guys, Just brough a Ghost Spider itsy bitsy from the bay with a 1.0 superstroke on it, was looking to get a taylormade putter grip to put onto it, anybody got any recomendations? also its got a couple of small paint chips down by the weight ports so has anybody used any touch up paint on there ghost putters and how did it come out? If it came out well were did you get it from? Thanks All!

Much better feel and feedback than the stock plastic, the plastic one feels and sounds like, while plastic.... This one reminds me of the the original white hot insert, I have a hard time understanding why they don't make the metal insert the standard for their retail putters. The entire putter is different in every way than the retail, bottom doesn't have the red plastic badge, black finish is more of a charcoal or matte grey, grip, insert, and even the shaft paint is different and feels more durable. It's a nice putter, I plan to keep it in the rotation for a while.

That is so true! I have always thought that if TM marketed a premium putter with quality features they good sell them. I never thought they marketed the Kia Ma line very well.

If this and others were built by the Ghost Lab, so be it. It is a difference that can be felt.

That is certainly a unique looking putter from a number of features. The milled face, stamped "tour" on the face and sole. And you are right, that silver milled badge could add weight to the head. I have seen that maybe one other time. Maybe that one is this one!! Very rare, I must say!

Please post a picture of it, if you can. I've had decent luck with model paint or automobile touch up paint in covering small dings. It's never gonna be perfect but if you're careful and put it on lightly, it should make it less noticeable. Remember multiple layers are slightly more durable so take your time and build it up slowly.

As far as grips, once we see the picture, we may be able to help you with the replacement or suggestions.

That TM milling pattern does really seem to soften the feel of the ball off the face. Does a magnet stick to it? If it does it is carbon steel, which adds to the feel. Probably, stainless steel though.

Just tried one of the kid's fridge magnets - it does stick to it, not with a huge amount of pull, but enough not to get shaken off. Do you think carbon steel then?

Just tried the same magnet to my stainless Slighter and it doesn't stick to that at all

I would bet that it is some sort of stainless. I have a few TaylorMade stainless steel putters that have a little bit of a pull to it. Carbon steel putters have a very strong pull

It's a pretty slick putter.... I have always though that TMAG makes the best CB putters, I liked the Spider Mallet just never liked the insert.
