In the Nike catalog, they showed wholesale price. Which was weird.

I forgot the Modus price, but the Project X was I think between $24-$27.

PXi was for sure $29, since I will be ordering that.

Just called Nike. Not set up for custom orders yet. They anticipate retailers will be able to custom order within the week. Standard orders placed today will ship on or before 10/14 if you'd rather do it yourself. Hurry up and wait for those of us who don't want the DG.

They also mentioned retailers should have demo clubs in the next week as well.

Lol.. nice Billy Madison plug. The only reason why I was asking if you were just going for 4-6 is because you said you are having difficulty finding the sweet spot on the mm protos so I figured you'd be going all pro combo.

I can hit it pretty good with the 7 iron. That's my club for 155-165 yards for me.

Difficult for sure in the 4-6 irons, I definitely need the help with them


They are 1* strong.. I'll have to bend them to my specs as in 24* 4 iron, then 27* then 30* for 6 iron.

Nice. Curious, what shaft were..lol..you playing in the CT 2.0? I had difficulty getting it high enough for maximum carry so I was playing it at 11.5-12.5 with a Blueboard 63 stiff. Get when hit right but I was too inconsistent with it so I picked up a 913 d2 12 with a 62 d+. It's probably going to be a good battle between the 915 D2 and the Vapor Pro (if it is a bit more forgiving and higher launching then the CT2.0). Either way, say goodbye to a easy $400.

I have it at 10.5 with Tour AD DI 6s. I set it once at 8.5 to try. Bad mistake.

Definitely going to try the Vapor Pro. Looks like the same exact 460cc shape as the tour 2.0.

I know, I love the CT 2.0 head that's why I was so disappointed it wasn't working for me. Probably the best looking and feeling had I've ever hit along with my tour issue hot-melted Taylormade Burner TP long hosel 10.5 */AD-DI 6 (that is the softest marshmallowly feeling and muted head I've ever hit) and my tour issue Taylormade R7 425 TP/ V2 66x. The CT 2.0 head reminds me more of the R7 with it's higher pitched sound. All three heads are top notch. I'm looking forward to hitting the Vapor Pro for sure.

I just spoke with Nike CS...Left Handed sets will be available for purchase on Dec 1, so essentially a month delay. There will not be any type of pre order needed. And all three models will be available.

I also asked about demo availability and was told they expect them to start hitting retailers mid month, but that process hasn't begun just yet.

So, let me get this straight: I can order Nike Vapor Speeds with UST Recoils in them? So, that would obviously take longer than what they say for availability. Not to be a Debbie Downer, why would I want to wait potentially 4-8 weeks for irons if they have to "order" shafts, slap them together and ship them?

That should not be the case, because I believe the retail recoils are a "stock" option.

Now if you wanted the proto version that would take longer

The stock option is for .355 taper. I know nothing about recoils but assuming they come in .370 parallel nike would easily be able to order them from ust.

Last year I ordered 7x3 white ties for my fairway woods. They didn't have them on hand but were able to get them pretty quickly from matrix since they are partners, which is the same case for ust.

Same dilemma with my wedges and getting kbs hi revs.

Nike is top notch when it comes to custom orders for shafts. I've said it many times, they will get you any shaft your heart desires!!

Well it's official, I am a total club slut. I spent just one season with my AP2, but due to some elbow pain I was going to reshaft with Recoils anyways. Instead, I went ahead and ordered the following:

Vapor Pro Combo
5-PW
UST Recoil 110

I thought about going with the Speed 5 iron, but the specs were way off from the Pro Combos. I know I could have customized loft and length, but I should be able to hit the 5.

Currently have the Pro Combo CB. Going to pre-order the Vapor Pro w/ DG x100, getting a real good deal on them. Would get the Pro Combo but no x stiff to order through their website, as of right now only Regular and Stiff available.

Where did you order them through? Nike said they're not set up to take any custom orders when I called.

I'm not 100% sure but I doubt it. That's not nikes style. They leave a bulk of their business to retailers.
