Yeah, this sucks. Got up at 5:40 to play this morning, and pull into the lot just as they put out a sign saying the course is closed. ?

This could end up being one of the shortest golf seasons due to all the crap weather. Can't believe we are in middle of June already.

Forecast calls for a decent day up here tomorrow. Mostly cloudy and high of 66, but at least NO RAIN!

And Lochenheath drains real well so won't be a mud pit.

Any courses in W. Michigan not soaking wet? Kaufman was underwater last week, I'm sure it still is. Last I played the Meadows the back was closed and front was cart path only. Hit balls there last night and the range was a soup sandwich. I've heard the Mines drains well, not my favorite track but I just want somewhere dry!

Was in W. Michigan Monday and yesterday and played Cedar Chase, Pilgrims, Diamond Springs and Angels Crossing. To my surprise, all were in excellent shape. No issues with standing water. Fairways were running out and the greens were in great shape.

I did play Diamond this year and it was nice! I'm out by GVSU so Cedar Chase, Pilgrims and Angels Crossings are all a good hike for me. Prob end up at Diamond again.

Been a member out there for past two seasons. Course has been in very good shape. It was lost several years back but you’d be happy with it now. The course will definitely test every aspect of your game. No let up on this track.

Sundance is solid but it doesn't look like it's an option this year, just Torch, Dells and Charlevoix CC, like 1PuttTUT said, Torch isn't terrible but outside of that, I don't think this is a great deal.

Charlevoix CC is the worst of the 4, Dells and Torch are ok, Sundance is really good. We bought this GG deal back to back a couple years. Stopped due to staff attitude, seemed to have a chip on their shoulder, not accommodating at all to change requests with customer offering to pay any reasonable charge.

Actually heard the same thing. My buddy was buying this for the past few years for him and the wife as a quick overnight get away for them and he said the same thing with regards to the staff. Which is a shame because with Grand Traverse Resort basically right down the road 15 minutes, you've got a pretty nice spot for a solid buddies trip.

Snuck out to Eagle Eye in Lansing. Great course and in great condition although the course was playing pretty soft. The staff was outstanding and its a must play especially once you get to the 17th. Great Track

Played out there Friday and it was in good (been a few years - used to go out there with the wife on Friday nights for $10 + $1 beer / $1 dog special. Yeah I am romantic like that)

Played 9 at Silver Lake on Saturday, sad to see what that place has become.
