Gents,

One last BST question. After I wait 24 hours I can repost another item. Is it ok if I post a few drivers and woods on the same post or is it just 1 item? After reading the rules it appears I could post a few drivers and fairway woods. Is that everyones understanding?

Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that.

BTW, Mike, where were you working? A heated shed? I'm going to be regripping soon, not sure when it's too cold to go out and work.
I was working in my garage. I have a Propane heater with a fan and then I installed a cheap ceiling fan as well to circulate the heat. It will usually warm up the garage by about 30 degrees compared to the outside temp, so on really cold days - I don't even try. But if it is 40 degrees, I can work out there in short sleeves.
Ok, so you have a bit better infrastructure than I do. I have a wooden shed with siding out in the back. Thankfully my dad was smart and told me to run some power back there, but I'm a)nervous about a heater near all the wood, and b)I need another foot of snow to melt before I can even get to it.

I assume the heat in your garage is enough for the regripping to take? Do you use solvent or compressor?
It was 72 in my garage when I was doing the gripping and shafting, so I was more than ok. I would suggest heating the unit up with a heater and then turning it off because solvent is flamable which in a small space would make me nervous. I hear you on the snow. I have stuff in my shed out back that I can't get at.

You can post multiple items on one ad. Just update the ad as each item is sold.

You can add stuff to your existing post at any time. If you close your original listing, you have to wait 24 hours before posting a new one. If you list something for sale and take the ad down, you can't repost it for a month, so keep that in mind when determining whether or not to post a new ad.

Already posted this on the Detroit area thread, but wanted to mention that I purchased the silver membership (access to both courses) at OU today. I'm super excited as I see lots of lunch breaks on sharf in my near future :)

Sent my g25 on its way yesterday and had some anxiety doing so, man did I hit that thing consistently espescially in competition. pre-negotiated a buy back price lol.

Miles of golf has been packed this week. Today will be big with respect to playing this weekend, this temp+ sun should do some serious work on the snow.

Quite a bit of melting over the last 24 hours. I can actually see some of the fairways and greens starting to peek out from the snow.

Is anyone here in ATMG using a armlock putter? Swiz?

I am trying to find one to play around with, but I don't feel like dropping $375 on a new Betti and I can't find an Odyssey that is less than 43 inches - I need one that is 40 (willing to go 39 to 42). Any other companies making armlock putters?

Yea I am, love it. Give me your address and I'll send you a model 1. I have both set up the same, I think I putt better with the 2 and use it more but like the square back look of the 1 better. The new ones have a different setup with loft and offset, haven't tried one yet.

I also used arm lock for a while. But I never got completely comfortable with it. Even after a couple of months, I felt like I was setting up differently for every putt, and my stroke showed that. That was more of a me problem than anything wrong with the method. Back to conventional since last year, and my putting stats were basically the same, but now I'm gaining some confidence after swiz and dozer helped me to correct (or at least showed me how--doing it every time is another story) 2 or 3 flaws in my aim and stroke.

Thanks. I sent you a pm.

I have tried CB and I am not a big fan. I putted with a Belly putter for two years and it was awesome. I had the best putting rounds ever with it. I just don't get hot anymore with the putter - I don't 3 putt much, but I also don't make many putts either. So I just want to give it a shot.

CB is where it's at. It's relatively subjective feel until you get the desired positive feedback after playing around with various weights using trial and error. I tried 1/3 head weight and didn't like it so I counter balanced to half the weight of my Scotty. The ball absolutely jumps of the face and my distance control on lags has a precision it lacked before. You can perfectly balance my Cameron on the tip of your finger exactly halfway down the shaft. It's butter.

That was me with the arm lock. I could make 3-5 footers all day, and 2 putt like no ones business. But felt like I couldn't make anything else outside of 5 feet.

I Armlocked for the summer of '13 and then on and off again, and now I putt conventional. I loved putting armlock and I thought it was stupid easy to get the ball rolling on your line. I may go back to putting armlock this summer

In lieu of the upcoming ATMG get together, I did a little research on the Lakes of Taylor, never having played it. First, Art Hills has some classic designs and makes his courses challenging for all skill levels. My favorite of his being The Hills Course up at Boyne. Anyway, I found the layout to be rather intriguing and don't think I could find a comparison maybe the closest being 1-18 at the Majestic. Looks to have tricky greens and tough par threes. The three consecutive par 5s is something I have not seen on another design. Those holes 8, 9, and 10 had me salivating. But at the same time I thought what a bottle neck that could be for pace if you get groups trying to hit every green in two. In all, it looks like a solid track.

Yeah, but that really puts the pressure on you to hit every green in regulation or better, and/or stick shots tight. Otherwise you aren't going to score. Gets mentally frustrating after awhile.

Those holes aren't too bad for pace. 8 is kind of a blind second and not really a good idea to go for in two. 9 is reachable. 10 is uphill and takes a lot more than most people have to reach in two.
