Mattsam hit the nail on the head, combination of terrain and soil. The topography is the closest to Scotland I have ever seen. Low rolling hills with shallow valleys. If there was water anywhere, these would be true seaside links courses. Wish i was a better photographer, these pics don't do justice. The bunkers have been here since the dinosaurs roamed. No need to build any, just route the holes and greens around them. And the sand is very fine and firm, perfect for a fast and firm course. If you like playing the front nine at CD and playing Kingsley, you'd love these courses.

A sand hills sampler without the trouble of writing letters or having a member hookup, is Wild Horse in Gothenburg. Just a tad below in terms of terrain and natural sand hills, but the conditioning was excellent and the routing/greens are close to these. $60.00 daily fee and $40.00 replay. $85.00 for a newer Comfort Suites room. Combine Wild Horse with Awarri Dunes and Bayside [both within an hour] and that's a pretty good buddies trip.

Cell service is non existent here and the wifi is so slow uploading pics is a PIA, will get some more up next week.

For the board here....I've got an MR3 true blue that I'm probably going to list. Just don't have a need for it, and for obvious reasons don't want to have to ship it. Any aspiring club tinkerers out there?

I can't believe you didn't come to his rescue. The clan must be falling apart.
That being said, I need a replacement for my amp cell pro with a blue board in stiff flex. I am not like you guys and will not buy the newest of new. Buying on cally preowned or global golf saves big bucks. So, something lower spin from last spring or older would be great. I hit the XR pro longer than everything else in the spring (even longer than than the LST?), but haven't hit the double black diamond.

I am swinging better than ever (~7 cap down to 3.9) the last 2 months. I hit my x hot pro 3 wood with a blue board almost as far as my driver.
Suggestions?

I'm back! Had to acknowledge I did something wrong and the prompt for that doesn't come up on mobile. All I did was call someone out for posting a negative comment in the thread repeatedly over the course of like 6 months. Not sure why someone would check back in every couple weeks to let everyone know a club sucked.

On a side note, I have used the 20 degree Srixon DI for a few rounds and really like it. I much prefer it to the 712U (which I did like) due to the increased forgiveness. I got along well with the stock shaft but I don't have crazy high SS like some of you beasts.

I will be there, but not till Thursday AM for the Tournament. I go off Heather first day at 11:45. 3JP goes off right around the same time and will be up Thursday AM as well.
