Comparable to Mizuno Windlite?

HaHa, you could ask me what irons are comparable to my 68s, and I could give ya 2-3 blades-

You ask me what's comparable to my Windlites, and I'd say nothing, though for the wind/rain pullover or vest-

ZR!!!!

Nothin comes close, even FJ Tour-

I love ZR's cut/sizing- You don't have to go up a size or two for the "freedom." True to size

Though for a sweater lookin top, the Windlite-

Have a nice week Gals & Gents :)

My Best,
Richard

In the end, only three things matter~

How much that you loved...

How mightily that you lived...

How gracefully that you accepted both victory & defeat...

GHIN: Beefeater 24

Someone said these fit small. I'd disagree.
I prefer medium but can be a large. I went large with the thought it would fit like a medium, no way. Large is definitely a large.
[/quote]I'm not sure what the deal is with the sizing. Tons of people say these run big, but my experience is just the opposite. i wear XL or XXL depending on brand, but the 6-7 of these that I've tried have been quite small. Its a shame because I really would like to try one of these.

Agree 100%. Just wore the Windlite and some UA Cold Gear in 30- 40 Degree windy weather and was extremely comfortable. Not sure about the sizing discussion but I have the older Windlite still available at 3Balls Golf and it is sized correctly and maybe half a size smaller than ZR. However the fit greatly reduces noise and the billowy feeling with other brands

The original 3 years were tagged Windlite -- first year was crewneck, then 2nd and 3rd years were zips. After that, the name was changed to Hayate with Windlite technology. I don't remember any of the Hayate actually having a Windlite name anywhere on the sweater but my memory could be failing me. Several brands have similar technology now such as Footjoy, Fairway and Greene and Bobby Jones, but the wider selection (and less expensive) is found in the UK. I've ordered and used Cutter & Buck, Callaway, CK, and ProQuip versions from online UK retailers. I actually like those better because they all use a thinner version of the liner making it more wearable in a variety of conditions. The old Windlite wear fantastic in ultra cold weather but as it warmed during a round they almost always had to come off because they were too bulky and too hot. That's just my experience though. I'm sure others may have differences.

I agree. I had a few color combos of Mizuno and Ashworth. I ended up getting rid of all of them. They were too big and bulky. They also got ridiculously hot, even when the weather was cold. I have other performance clothing that keeps me warm with less bulk, and then with the layers, I'm able to shed as needed.

Callaway Rogue ST Max - Tensei AV White - 8*
Taylormade M3 HL - MFS5 White Tie 60S -0.75" (42.5")

Mizuno JPX 923 HMP - 4-G - Recoil 95 S - 2* upright

Callaway X-JAWS - 52/58*

Odyssey OWorks 2ball - 34" - 1* loft - 71* lie
Slighter Proto 1 #9/Del Mar design - High Toe - Long neck - Deep Milled face - 33", 370gr, lie 71*, loft 4*

I 've worn the Mizuno and now wear the Footjoy, Lined Performance Sweater. I'm from Toronto and on those cold days this thing keeps me hot! On the cooler mornings I can sometimes get too hot in this if I layer too much underneath. Must have for cold weather.
