Anybody try an older Surefit in a 915 yet? I know they are suppose to work, so I tried my 913's shaft and the 915's screw didn't seem to like the 913 Surefit's hole (i didn't want to strip anything so I have up easily)---HOWEVER, i didn't try too hard after a bunch of easy turns when the screw wouldn't seat into the sufefit.
Also, the Surefit tips are designed slightly different cosmetically. The 915 surefit has a metal ring around the surefit's tip that the 910/913 doesn't have.
I have tried shafts from my 910 and 913 drivers and they all fit and work fine in the 915 driver. I did not notice anything different in the 915 shaft adapters.

I'm using a older non-OEM surefit that was in my 913 in my 915. No problems.

Ok. I probably just seated it wrong and gave up quickly.

I wonder what the metal ring is for on the 915 Surefit adaptors. See it when you take the shaft and adaptor out all the way of the head on the very tip of the adaptor?

Are the settings the same in the above moving 910/913-915 shaft wise ?
Also what is the titliest form of the really low launching driving hybrids Adams has out ? Love my 913 hybrid but looking to take a 3 out and carry hybrid -4 instead of h -3-5
Placing my order tommoorw for a 8.5 d3 with an oban black 75 +2 wraps and can't wait . Also looking to go fd 915 possibly

there's the Hd hybrid (similar to Fd fairway) and the 712 driving iron.

915 h has been surprising me thus far. I use a 913h 21* off the tee quite a bit at my usual course (there are a lot of cross bunkers and hazards you need to lay up short of on tight holes) and i know exactly how far i usually hit my 913. 915 h was getting a little closer to some of those bunkers than i expected yesterday. Luckily none went in but they were getting an extra 10 yards out there consistently yesterday. Probably has more to do with the new shaft (rogue) than the head however.
I would like to replace my 4 iron with a 915h - I had the 910h, but it was very left (I forget the shaft it had). I don't want anything too stiff, just less prone to turning over, ad with enough weight in it to stop me coming over the top.

I play s300 in my 2012 TM MCs, so would like something similar in the 915h, but graphite. Loft wise, I guess 24 degrees is the 4 iron replacement (I don't want max distance, I want something reliable from about 180-190yds out (and no, that is NOT a 7 iron :) )
I found that replacing my ap2 4 iron I had to go with the 915h 27* to get the distance correct. 24 went to far and created a big gap. I believe I have the diamana d+ white 92 stiff

I hit both the 915 D2 and D3 with the Rogue 70 shaft as well as the Diamana 60 all in x stiff flex. Left the setting at the A1 default to get baseline numbers. My numbers on GC2 were OK, nothing that pops out
I tried the rogue shaft on a 913 D2 head and got about the same distance. However, the 913 dispersion was better.
I then went to my car opened the trunk and tried my gamer, the SLDR 10.5 TP and the SLDR was longer by 12 yards

Personally I think the 915 is a fine product but If you already game the 913, then I will not switch, the 915 is not a remarkable improvement over the 913

I hit the 915 d3 while i was waiting to have an adapter put on a shaft. I previously gamed the 910 d3 before I switched to a bio cell pro. Needless to say I was very impressed with the club and the forgiveness on hits low off the face because distance wasn't severely punished. I could see myself gaming it but I just love the BCP and I prefer the acoustics of it over the 915. Great club though!

I'll need some reassurance before pulling the trigger:

Based on Titleist's website description, I SHOULD do better with the D2. This was not the case in my testing.

Launch angles were very close, 14-15 degrees. D3 spin was just a bit lower. Consistent result, tho, was nearly 10 yds better for D3, and magical solid feel.

My experience with the 910 and 913 series D3s was far less satisfactory; the earlier D2s were better for me.

I suppose the only answer is to keep experimenting to be sure, but maybe someone here has had this experience?
I had the same experience. I was fitted by a Titleist tour rep and 915 D3 was better #s wise. We found a close second combo with D2. I typically go for forgiveness whenever I can but rep seemed to think I should get the D3. Haven't decided.

So I went to the range and was on a launch monitor , and I was gonna demo the titleist 915 d3 9.5 with the xstiff rogue. But 1st I had to try out the sldr 10.5 with a oban blue tour limited shaft in it That I just got from TM .so to make a long story short the 915 d3 felt sooo good , I had a absolute blast hitting this driver . I could go at It as hard as I wanted , smooth it out there , it was a perfect ball flight and as flying about 260 in 40* degree weather . So can't wait til it gets warm. The sldr is on the bay ,,

Just wondering if anyone has gotten a frequency number on a 915 D2 with the Rogue silver and black shafts.
Do you mean the FCM number for the shaft?
No, I'm refering to the cpm. Years ago I was fitted for a driver at 264 cpm, now using a titlest 910 D2 that by coincidence has a shaft with a cpm of 264 with very good dispersion but a little dissapointing in overal distance. Hit about 20 balls with the tilest 915 D2 with a Rogue Black stiff and came away impressed....just wondered if anyone using this setup black or silver had it measured in cpm?

I noticed that with the 913 adapter the screw has to be PERFECTLY straight to get it started. I used to put the shaft butt on my foot and then not even look at the screw snd go off feel. I can't do that with the 913 tip into the 915 head. I have to pick it up and look at the screw to make sure it's straight.

The tips are only different cosmetically, I was told at TPI that they perform and weigh the same, although I have not weighed one. The new ones were designed to cost less so dealers can get and sell them easier. I was told that is the only reason for the change.

I special ordered my 915D2 on 11/8 and ordered a 915F on 11/15. the 915D2 hasn't shipped yet while the 915F arrived today. Kind of surprised the driver hasn't arrived as of yet. didn't think the order was all that special...was only a 915D2 9.5* with 110MSI Rogue Silver 70X tipped .5" at 45" with a NDMC platinum/white/blue grip +2 wraps and 1 extra wrap under my right hand.... who knows... anyways, the 915F came in tonight and I hit about 10 balls out into the range omg sooo pure. specs as follows: 915F 15* with 95MSI Rogue Black 80x @ 43" played in surefit D2 position (14.25* effective loft, upright and closed face) with same grip setup as the driver... my 915 shaft shootout is going to be ridiculous in this head.
Ithought when u decreased loft in surefit it plays like 1.5 degree open and when you increase loft you actually close the face?

Looking at the chart now indicates you'd be correct and the face is in fact 1.5* open. For years I've played my 913Fd at C3 and found with the 915F that at D2 I was making better contact with more accuracy. I had just assumed the face was closed. Thank you for the clarification! Cheers!

Cool reason i said something is cuz i play mine 1.5 open and love it at 14.25 and .75 upright Im glad u like your new sticks I wish i could justify getting 915 but the numbers werent there for me
The 915F and 913Fd were pretty close for me with the edge to the 915, however my 913 had a little too much "character" after a few less than perfect swings over 2 years. I felt there was no better time than the present to upgrade.

Upgraded from 913 D2 8.5* Diamana D+ 70X to 915D3 8.5* New Diamana D+ 70X at 44.5 inches, fit by Titleist van a couple of weeks ago...

Sound is significantly louder, but i have already gotten used to it on the range. It reminded me of my brief stint with the SLDR earlier this year. Flight is much more penetrating as the D2 used to balloon and the D3 is much more suitable for my swing. As others have mentioned, the forgiveness on non center strikes is noticeable in regards to distance. I hit a couple towards the toe and couldn't distinguish any difference in distance. I haven't been able to gauge overall distance yet but i got a feeling the decrease of spin and flatter ball will help in the long run. The D3 head is much more attractive than my old D2 as well.

915F ordered and hope to get a Thanksgiving round in with that next week
Did you notice any difference in feel or stiffness between the old and new D+ shafts? I went for a 915 fitting earlier in the week and the best combo as a 9.5 D3 with my existing 913s D+ 62x. The fitter only had the new D+ in 70 so could not compare apples to apples.. I am sure there is only minor differences but just interested. All things being equal I'll take he new version as I prefer the new color scheme!
I was wondering the same thing about the new D+ shafts. My 913 had the D+ white 62x. Tested that shaft with the 915 D3 head and also with the new D+ white 70s. I actually have better numbers with the new shaft. But I would have loved to try out the 915 with a new D+ white 60s, but the fitter didn't have that shaft. Wondered if the 60g weight would match the weight and characteristics of the old club but give me the new numbers I liked to see. To me, the new shafts have similar stiffness to the old (perhaps slightly softer). But new seems to launch a tad higher. I am no longer an x-flex guy, so I am hoping the s-flex will also allow me longer distance. Agree on the color scheme. the gray shaft is pleasing to the eye.
Only difference I am feeling in new D+ is maybe slightly more tip stiff, but that's being picky. I still feel like I can load the shaft well despite going a half an inch shorter in length. BTW....The 915F came in and WOW....the face is noticeably hotter and feel is great. I went to the new S+ 80X in this club and shaft loads better and feels less boardy.

Just got my 5 wood in. Gonna be a couple more days for the driver for some reason, despite preordering a month before release.

Anyways I was fit for it with Trackman and was carrying it about 240 on a good strike, 102 mph SS and 1.5 smash.

Tried it in the shop once it arrived on GC2, and it consistently carried 250, 106-107 mph SS with 1.41 smash? I mean I was hitting it well but can someone explain this madness? Pretty sure I'll stick with the Trackman yardage but man that's some serious juicing.

I ordered a 915 d2 with the rogue silver 70x about 2 to 3 weeks ago. Title its said the 110 rogue 70x was on back order and Dec. 15th was the earliest the driver would ship. Got a call from pro and said my driver came in today out of nowhere!!! So it looks like shafts came in early last week and they are filling orders!!!!!

That's fantastic! I ALMOST cancelled the 110msi 70x order and put in an order for the 125msi 70TX last night when I dropped my AD DI 7x off to be tipped and have the Titleist adapter put on. After reading that i'm glad I didn't change the order.

Unbelievable...... Went and picked my driver up and the first thing I saw on it was 95MSI. It was the black 70g x-flex. i did not notice until I got home. They closed at 8 and I walked in about 5 minutes before closing so I was in a hurry to get out of there so they could close. I am almost positive I hit the Silver in the fitting though. I am 98% sure it said 110msi on it when hitting it... I have to call the pro tomorrow morning who ordred it and talk to him. I already struggle with spin so I am really concerned and disappointed with the black..... 115+ club speed and ball speed of 170-175. Based on all of the opinions on here I was really set on the 110 silver. Maybe I am being crazy and should not let "Internet forums" influence my decision.

Is there really that much of a difference between the Bkack 70-x 95MSI and the Silver 70-x 110MSI?

I am majorly bummed right now......
Maybe Titleist made an honest mistake but doubt it.....
