I have and would agree. Epic sz sounded great and rogue is no different. As for the fairway I hit the rogue sz and I’m in love. I’ll give more info when I get a chance but it’s football time. Fly eagles fly!!!

 

Btw I played today with Smitty120 and look where I caught him haha :D to be fair he hit a great shot here that ran out on him but he played well and we won some cash $$$

I was born and raised a Vikings fan, but renounced them 8 years ago after the Favre debacle in New Orleans. Couldn't handle the stress anymore.

As an Ealges fan I know disappointment well. We are just now becoming a real threat which feels good. No more QB's that lead the team in rushing yds. Just doesn't work.

Callaway did a great job reshaping the head based on player feedback. As for it being open it seemed to sit fairly neutral to me maybe slightly open (def not closed). With that said it's a glued fwy wood so it can be bent to spec if you have someone in your area. This is a club that i will probably buy at the shop so i can find one that sits just the way i want off the rack (hopefully). If i can't i'll have it bent but that's a whole other process in my area.

 

I also hit the standard Rogue fwy and liked it. It's not that much bigger and still has a great shape to it so i wouldn't be surprised to see both being used on tour.

 

Jailbreak in the fwy woods is a great feature as well. I was averaging 2mph higher ballspeed then last years Epic SZ 3 wood which means i will go up in loft to make it more forgiving and easier to hit off the deck and tee. I'm usually a 13 or 13.5* guy but i will def buy the 15*.

The SZ has a slightly smaller shape and i believe slight taller face then the standard. But the height of the face think M1 fwy. Not as deep as the Epic SZ. I like a deep face for the tee but not for shots off the deck. The Rogue SZ is like a hybrid of both so it looks perfect to me.

I think I am sticking with the Epic's this year, had them all redone at Continental this Winter, look amazing, and just played well with em last season, no reason to change.

 

I will surely demo, but kinda like adjustability. I am trying not to change equipment for once this season.

Epic is a great line can't go wrong. You have pics of the refinish?

Looking at some pics from the pga show. This is my first year in a while i won't be down there. Damn!!!! :D

 

Liking the new odyssey insert on the Exo stuff. And man is Odyssey going all in on the mallet slant necks! Love it i'm so sick of double bend face balanced putters.
