Has anyone has the chance to test the tour Rogue vs the retail version? I'm interested in the results...

I have the Tour Rogue 125 70TX and also had until recently the Tour Rogue 60TX 125 and also the Retail Rogue 110 Silver 60X. To give you an honest answer they feel different and produce different numbers. I got lower launch and 200-300rpm's lower in spin as well as much tighter dispersion with the Tour Rogue 125 vs Retail. It's a different shaft I don't care what Aldila tries to say. I'm not saying the 110 Retail is bad it's just different.

There is also a retail 125msi version however

True and I have never hit that so I can't comment. The 95, 110, 125 are all different from each other as they are supposed to be.

Where can you get the retail 125? I have only seen the Limited Edition 125 shafts for sell.
[/quote]

Tileist has them as an upgrade shaft but I believe they are made in China wherea the Tour and Limited Edition Rogues are made in the R&D Lab in California.

What is your ss at? did you find the 125 60x to be firmer than the 110 60x? I would pony up for the titleist 125 but I won't be able to demo it. My main concern is that I would be crossing the line into the too stiff range. Classic 108-112 tweener

The 125 is definitely tighter then the 110. I'm not sure i would say "stiffer" as in CPM's. Honestly they feel like two different shafts to me. Like the Speeder 661 is different from the 757.

I had originally ordered my 915D2 with the Rogue Silver 110 MSI 70X, however Titleist has been backordered for that shaft so I figured I'd splurge and change the order to the 125MSI Tour Rogue 70TX. I was given an estimated delivery date of 1/24/15 for the 125MSI Rogue order.

From then on I'll be testing the Tour Rogue vs an AD DI 7x, a Fubuki Tour 73S tipped 1", and a Diamana D+72x. I can't wait for the club to arrive!

I got the silver 110 in my Alpha 815, spin is still a little higher than Id like, but I love the "feel" Id like to be able to try the retail 125 in stiff, I hit the Limited edition my spin was way too low, and i have a negative angle of attack, the Limited edition is a spin killer. Thinking the retail 125 would be perfect.

I can handle AD DI 6x and Tour Spec 7.2x. The ts 7.2 can be a bit stout if I'm not feeling athletic. Does anybody think a 125 rogue silver 6x would be too much? Maybe I could get titleist to NOT tip it.

If you can handle the Tour Spec 7.2 x you will be fine handling the Rogue 125 60x

There are definitely visual differences between the "Tour" 125 and the one from Titleist. I have the 70g Silver 125 in TS flex from Titleist and it's fantastic. To me, it definitely feels more stout than the 70g Silver 110 I have demo'd, but that is comparing Stiff vs TS so it's not exactly apples to apples.

So given that the 125MSI launches and spins a little low than the 110 MSI, is it safe to assume that tipping the 110 MSI about 1/2" would yield similar performance?
