SeeMore Putters...Here Is The Love!

I can't wait to post pictures of my completed FGP giant next week. Gonna be pretty sick once I get it put together. Until then it's unfortunately back to the Odyssey ProType 7. Im going to eventually see if I can send the head to BOS or something to get it deep milled and see if they can possibly do something about a couple dings on it, but that won't be for quite some time.

Took the plunge today. Went to the local Golf Galaxy and found they had a 34" FGP mallet still in the wrapper. They had another one that had been unwrapped. Putted around for about 30 minutes with it. Tried so many different putters also and kept coming back to the Seemore. Since the ones in stock at GG didn't have the Rosemark grip, ended up picking up a Winn Lite jumbo pistol grip and going to install that tonight.

All I can say is wow! Today was my first round with my new FGP mallet. Best putting round ever and shot my personal best for 9 holes today. I was making bombs left and right today. My playing partners couldn't believe it. Thank you Seemore. At the end of the round one of my playing partners started asking me about the putter and how much it cost.

Nice work!! Great playing. Your putting confidence will begin to grow even more with every use.

  • 2 weeks later...

Last year I discovered the world of Seemore. I bought a FGP and saw my putting stats improve. I ended up buying a MFGP DF from a member here and fell in love. I sold about a dozen putters including my Byron collection. I have putted better this year than I ever have. A couple days ago I was browsing Ebay and came across one of these s-l1600.jpg.

My Deep Flange has cooled off the past couple weeks so I put the M6 in my bag last night for the semi final match in our clubs match play championship. Once I got the speed down the new Seemore got red hot. Ended up birding 4 straight to end the match. I love the Rifle Scope Technology. If I hide the red dot and make a good stroke I know I'm going to hit my line.

It's not in my nature to be
mysterious, but I cant talk about it
and I can't talk about why.

Thinking about leaving the Scotty Newport 2 behind. Not really confident putting with it and I have been eyeing Seemore putters since last summer which was only a few months after I started golfing overall.

Really not sure if I should go get fitted and who can do a proper fitting in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Anyone have any ideas? I guess I could pick up an FGP on eBay unless someone here is looking to sell one of theirs? If I am going to spend retail price, I figure I might as well get fitted properly for a nice one.

Well, unfortunately my FGP Giant is looking to be a bit longer until it's finished. Took it to my club builder to have it put together real quick, shaft was too small for the hosel though. .370 diameter ust frequency filtered shaft with a layer of heat shrink tubing over the chrome. Going to put one more layer of heat shrink tubing on as it did add to the diameter of the shaft. If one more layer doesn't fill the space adequately I'll add one more to the tip and that will definitely fill the hosel. I have taken all the weight into consideration and am going to have a counter core grip so can fidget with whatever feels best. I know the tubing may altar the feel, but this thing just looks so darn amazing with my white/black RST dot that I will become accustomed to the feel hahaha.

SeeMore has been on my list of brands to try. Just never gotten around to it even though they're the only brand that's even remotely local to me. I get the alignment system in principle, but what about those of us that forward press? I assume if you use a SeeMore you're not supposed to forward press?

I know, I know... it's only one round and just wait... blah, blah, blah... :)

But... I took my Seemore Corona Del Mar Deep Flange out yesterday for it's first round. I practiced with it the day before for maybe 10 minutes or so. Holy Toledo!! 27 total putts... 10 one putts. I realize total number of putts can be misleading but some of these one putts were not just tap ins. At one point, I dropped 4 putts in a row with each putt ranging from 8 to 15 feet. My playing partner at one point looked at me and said "that's enough now".

So my initial thoughts on this putter (besides the results I had) - feels sweet, I think I like the Rifle Scope Technology, and the putter puts a great roll on the ball. I think I may have an unusual Seemore as my model has no insert but I think most of the Corona Del Mar Deep Flanges do. At least the ones I see in pictures have an insert. Maybe Seemore can chime in??? I don't want an insert so not complaining.

Great putter so far. Going to change the grip though... probably a Pure Big Dog. Me happy.

Joining the club, I received on old Si1 in the mail yesterday from the Bay. Just left the club repair shop to have the grip replaced, 1.5 inches cut from the top, and lie adjusted *2 flat. Waiting for the grip to set now.

Took the new-used SI1 for a spin today. 29 total putts, shot an 82 (my lowest score ever). Staying in the bag!

Two rounds in with my Seemore. Not as quite as deadly as round 1 as I had 30 total putts. Still made a decent amount of putts (two or three made in the 10-14 foot range). One three putt so far in two rounds - I'll take that... and the 3 putt I had was just a bad, bad first putt today on the 1st hole. 100% happy so far... key words being "so far". Hope it continues & I have no reason to believe it won't. RST works.

Just in case you guys are curious; here she is. I put the SS Fatso 1.0 on her to see what all the hype was about. Awesome grip. The putter really does swing itself.

Also, the specs given to me on the SeeMore website were spot on for me. It did take a few tries to get the lie angle bent to 68* because the shaft wanted to spring back.

I just put the old gamer up on the Bay. Full commitment to the Seemore!

Round 3 in with my Seemore. No, I'm not going to post every time I play :). I just wanted to make a couple of comments that might help someone out. Referring to the post above, I actually feel the same exact way. The putter does kind of "swing" itself. Just use the RST properly and as long as your green reading is pretty good - you just have to put a decent stroke on the ball for it to have a chance to go in. I had 28 putts tonight. That's 27,30, and 28 in my first three rounds. One 3 putt tonight which makes two 3 putts in three rounds. I'll take that.

I have a new grip coming from Seemore - I ordered the Pure Big Dog to put on my new baby. Can't wait as I don't even like the current grip on the putter (I don't care for smallish grips). This combo should be putter heaven to me.

Anyone considering a Seemore... I say go for it. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Still using my DB-4. Put a flatso 1.0 on it and I feel like spieth rolling the rock (in my mind atleast. )

Could go on and on about this putter but my favorite thing is its weight. at 335g it is lighter than nearly every other putter Ive ever tinkered with. Year #2 for my seemore and not going anywhere.

Except to bos golf to get customized for me.

I read earlier in this post directly from SeeMore that you let the putter do the work. And that's what it is kind of does, I just make the backswing, and the putter just swings forward on its own weight. This wasn't the case with my face-balanced Odyssey 1W Tank which requires an SBST stroke for best results. This maybe unique to the impact-balanced-center-shafted concept that SeeMore uses in most of its putters. Whatever it is, the SeeMore SI1 does have a very "flowy" feel to it that isn't found in the other putters I own.

It's not just in the center shafts either.

Putting was the 1st,2nd and 3rd worst part of my game until I picked up a plumbers neck Seemore blade. It just "flowed", everything felt good about it. Original grip and all. These guys know putters.

Just ordered an MFGP SS Nashville Studio black blade. Looking forward to rollin it. My original FGP looks like it's been draggin off the bumper of my truck for a few years. Lots of rounds with it. Wanted an upgrade.

Customer service was great. 3 emails, 3 rapid responses from Zach and Jason! If I need something else, I have no doubt I can count on Seemore.

Big seemore fan here.
