am I right in saying the fgp mallet is 30 grams heavier than the normal fgp?
you are correct. You made add weight to the FGP blade if you like - no up charge. Thanks.
I bought an off the rack FGP and it is a little too upright for me. Is it possible to adjust the lie angle on this by 1 or 2 deg? Thanks.

Some nice putters in this thread. I like the Z zeries personally but can't get myself to spend 450 on a putter. Try to catch one on the BST so i can give it a whirl.

Nice pics gentleman

You can send it to SeeMore and they will adjust it however you like for $52 + 1-way shipping. A decent club tech should be able to do it too, but I had a less than satisfactory experience with one of my earlier SeeMores trying it that way. YMMV.

Here is a good video that shows how to bend a SeeMore putter with a putter loft and lie machine. We use a Mitchell loft and lie machine and a "z" bending bar. If you do have any questions when you are with your club tech, call the office at 615-435-8015 and we can walk you through it. Thanks.

I still can't say enough good things about the Giant Putter. The more I use it the more putts drop. I understand that is bound to happen because if you use a putter you will sink putts, but this putter has me sinking putts that I typically don't drop.

I am pumped that I got the putter reweighted. It performs so much better at the standard weight for me rather than the counterbalanced weight.

Just a bump to say that my putting game improved so much with my FGP. My regular playing partners cannot believe how good my putting stroke is good with the SeeMore.

I've played my best round ever with it (78-78-79) in the last 10 rounds. Sinking putt has been one of the main reason.

If I read my line correctly, the ball goes in for sure.

Found a deal on a used Giant that I just couldn't turn down last night! It was a 37" CB with SS 3.0 XL that I had cut down to 36" and a SS Flatso 2.0 put on. Excited to try this length/grip combo a lot. The wife thought I was joking when I showed it to her haha!

HA! It could do the job, may even put some swiffer pads on it to clean the floors...

Guys, the Giant rolls the ball GREAT. I still need time to adjust to the new length and grip before I have a better overall opinion on the putter. I would like to do some experimenting with the weights in the head though. The head currently has 100% toe hang. I would like to try it face balanced or even toe up like the Edel Torque Balanced putters. I need to give SeeMore a call and talk weights with them. Since I bought this putter used I'm not sure if it had the 50g weight added like the CB ones do or not, I'm going to assume so.

Thanks for the kind words. At this time the weights can not be removed. However, if you like can add 50 grams to the putter head itself. It is a repair but can be done by sending to us. Lastly, here is an awesome video that talks about Face Balanced at impact or "face balance to plane" - http://www.seemoreputtersblog.com/2015/02/seemore-putters-face-balance-at-impact-face-balance-to-plane.html

Not only does the GIANT FGP is made with the correct use of High MOI but the putter head always wants to return square at impact. Try this "tee drill" with other putters and see what happens. Thanks again and stay in touch. Appreciate the support.

@Seemore - Gracias. I've been critical of Seemore in the past but have seen some really nice models in the last few years. Keep up the good work might have to try one of these giant FGP's

I have been using the M3 for 4 years. I have acquired a few Scottys, as well as other miscellaneous temporary experiments during this time period, but have remained faithful. I really wanted to give a counterbalanced Seemore a go, and, after a 6 month search, I have a Z3C coming my way. I have been able to bring 3 other into the Seemore family, and I am still amazed they they fly under the radar the way they do.

This 2 day shipping period for my Z3C is like waiting on Santa "back in the day". It is painful, buit it will be worth it!

I have seen a couple of guys on tour using the FGP Giant but I couldn't say who they are off of the top of my head. But it is pretty obvious when one is being used. You won't mistake it for anything else. I have rolled one at a local Golfsmith. The feel is quite solid with good feedback. I think that volume wise it probably isn't larger than many mallets. It is just that you are not used to seeing that much volume in more of a blade shape.

Yeah that's my issue. Golfsmith and Golf Galaxy in my area have literally 5 Seemore putters in their inventory. "If it's hard to try it's hard to buy" (J13) :)

It's hit or miss for me. I went to the new Golf Galaxy near me that had half a dozen SeeMores the last time I was there. This time they had 2, neither of which I was interested in. Stopped by a close Golfsmith the same night and BAM, they had 6-8 new ones (2 new Giants, reg and CB) and they had a few used with the Giant I bought being one of them.

Played with my Giant for the second time last night. I'm getting my speed dialed in with it. The longer shaft is helping me stand up straighter, which in turn helps keep the hole in my peripheral vision on even longer putts. I played around with the fitting questions that SeeMore has posted on their site. For the posture and stroke I am going for their system recommended how I have the Giant set up, 36" and standard (70*) lie. My only complaint so far is I feel like I hit a lot of putts thin with the Giant. Gonna focus on not picking up the putter on the backswing.

SeeMore...I read about people sending in their putters to be reconditioned
but when I go to your web site there is nothing there about refinishing.
Am I missing something?
Thanks

We offer club repair of reshafting, grip, etc. Being a small company at this time we are not set up to offer any refinishing methods at this time. We can help with paint and smaller jobs in house. If you are needing something larger, contact us and we can forward you to a third party that does this.
