I hope it doesn't mess her up. I prefer to wear contacts but there is a difference in what you are used to seeing to what you are now seeing with contacts. Some get used to a certain frame shape and unwittingly use reference points for alignment.

She's young and probably won't think twice about it and continue on crushing the competition.

Not sure why but I am disappointed by this news. As a grown man, why would I care what some teenage golfer chooses as her corrective eyewear? I even wear contact lenses myself. Oh well, everyone grows up. I guess the glasses made her seem innocent and unassuming, and not vain like most of her peers.

Sure is a way different look in the profile pic, may not be quite so dramatic in golfing kit but she looks particularly imperious in that pic..

On a different note, nice to see Lydia is planning on playing the NZ WO when it's a direct clash with the LPGA Thailand event. I didn't think she would tbh so glad to see her supporting NZ golf like that.

I wouldn't be surprised to see her don a pair of sunglasses at some point. Frankly, I don't understand how many pro golfers can spend so many hours out in the sun without UV protection.

The new pic of Lydia is great....she's looks "pretty" rather than "cute". She still acts cute though! With make-up & without the glasses, she reminds me of Mi Yun Kim, remember her?? She was always cute as can be.

Huge fan of Kimmie. She carried tons of hybrids and had such a smooth swing. She's something like 5 foot nothing yet still competed and won 8 or 9 times and made over $8M on the LPGA. She hasn't played on the LPGA since 2012 and she's missed.
